I'm in the same boat. I'm a religious Christian but I don't like extremism on either side so I walk the middle road. I'm also registered Independent because I don't care about a party, I care about the individual. I've been called a Woke Leftie for criticizing some things Trump has said and done, then I get called a White Supremecist from Lefties when I criticize Biden.
I am a Republican. This is my political stance. I am conservative. This guides the choices I make in my daily my life. I am a Christian. This is where my faith is found in my Savior Jesus Christ. It is the Republican Convention. There is no criteria set that every Republican also be conservative and/or Christian. My faith guides all areas of my life, but I cannot require that of all of my fellow Republicans. We share the same political ideology. It would be wrong for me to judge their lives based on the choices I’ve made for my life based solely on belonging to the same political party.

That was until I heard Rob Gronkowski talk about his experience with how much CBD and other byproducts of it helped him. It’s not like I took his word as gospel but it opened me up to looking into it further. That’s what she was there to do. It’s not like she has to be the perfect conservative from day one. It’s so difficult because we are in a culture where there is a large lack of ownership and responsibility when it comes to thoughts and actions. You are always responsible for the things you say, they have repercussions whether you intend them to or not. You can also evolve away from your previous thoughts and actions and you should have privacy and room for fault. More people need to be more responsible, but it is also an over step to get people fired for lack of foresight for the same reasons as the original incident (there are repercussions). So how can you incite more responsibility of thought and actions?

You do not have to be a Christian to be a Conservative. You do not have to be a Conservative to be a Republican. You do not have to be a Republican to be a Christian. YES. Ideally, we should all be all three, but that does not mean we should look down on individuals who are do not meet this "Purity Test". Too many people online are drawing the line where a person "Should be". Instead of accepting them for what they are. It is impossible to agree on everything. About Amber Rose I have to say that if there were people calling themselves Christians and judging her for what ever she has had going on in her life previously (or even now) then they can't call themselves real Christians. Christianity is about grace and forgiveness and Jesus himself said: "The one who is fully sinless may be the one to through the first stone.." (Which no-one ofcourse is..) Muslims stone people, Christians do not.

If people are losing their jobs, I believe there should’ve been a considerable amount of more thought behind the statements they chose to make public. Though I do agree, we should not as a society push for someone to lose their job over what they have said. But again, if the consequence to your action is that your company cannot be associated with you that is their right.

There is a story of another woman who had led somewhat of a questionable life up to that point. In John 4, she met Jesus, the One who is Himself The Truth, at a well. She was so convinced he was who he said he was that she had to go tell everybody about it. Her whole town came to Christ because of 1) her sharing what she had experienced and 2) them all coming to find out for themselves. The account ends with the townspeaople telling the woman, "It is no longer" (but totally was, at first) "because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know...."
I agree that the Republican Party needs to continue to focus on outreach and bring more into the party. The Republican Party principles are good principles and helps all people. That said, the Democrats played a dangerous game of building coalitions and have been taken over by socialists and “regressives”. There was a time when the Democrat party was reasonable. Now they are insane. Republicans need to welcome all, but hold tight to Republican principles.
The end goal needs to be that there are consequenses for your actions. If that means people get fired then so be it, those are the consequences of her action.

I just looked him up and he's supposedly right wing, but he's no actually different than the far left. And yes, I love that Amber Rose spoke at the RNC (I had no idea who she is either - had to look her up too). I can't imagine that happening back in the day, even though throughout my lifetime, Republicans as a group have always been more tolerant and open-minded than their opponents. But this raised things to a new level and makes me happy! And, no I don't think Republicans are fighting at all. There are a teeny-tiny number of annoying people trying to get some attention. No real Republican objects.
We’ve known Jack Black was not fond of Trump. He’s endorsed Biden. I’ve separated art from artist with him for a while, he wasn’t super obnoxious about his politics and he was just goofy and entertaining on his social media for the most part.
