I really enjoyed this, what a great tribute to old school video games. So glad to see you’re still making music and sharing it. What’s your mental system for remembering what sounds are assigned to each of the tracks for each pattern?
Matt thank you so much for your comment and support ! 😊🙏 To answer your question, there's no real method hahaha... it's a little bit random ! Sometimes I write on a piece of paper some memo to know where all instruments are assigned !
Félicitations, c’est magnifique! L’univers d’un jeux-vidéo est vraiment bien recréé. Une préférence pour le morceau At the gate avec sa petite rythmique glitch 👍
I really love this and the videogame vibes, it was so beautiful L'heure. I'm almost buying my M:C i just have some doubts:( rlly hope you can help me 1. How can you record the audio from the M:C to the pc? (can you explain me really fast the process? im a begginer:( ) 2. My dream is to create songs for films/series like dark or videogames like zelda, do you think i can do this with the M:C? it's possible? 3. This jam was made full with the sounds of the M:C?, you can import your own samples? (how you do that in some case that you can)
I’m glad you like the video 😊 1.To record music on your computer, you need an audio interface (sound card): your computer has one, but it already handles far too many things. Also, with this sound card, you can plug your instruments into a 6.35mm jack input, and the sound passes from your card to the computer via a USB connection. But to record your sound, you need a digital audio workstation (ableton, FL studio, Garagband which is free on Mac, LogicPro, etc.). 2. It’s totally possible with the M:C to make videogame song because of the FM cheap sound 3. The jam was made full on the M:C 😍
@@noodlingaround2023 oh I see what you mean ! Actually is pretty easy : up to the LFO button you have a kind of "envelop" button. By pressing it you can "sustain" your note. You can also play with the decay, and the contour too. I don't know whether that's clear but I hope I answered your question ! 😉
Hi ! Yes I record the M:C on ableton (on one stereo track) and I use an effect rack with plugins (for compression, EQ, limiter, reverb, etc.). But it's just for giving a dynamique to the sound. The colored sound of the cycles wasn't changed.
