It's hard to be a solitary person (introvert) in this modern society, there’s a pressure for exposure on so many levels and being loud and rude seems to be the way of most people, Cryo Chamber's channel allows me to recover from all that, I don't know if this comment will be read, but from the deep of my soul I type to you "Thank You".
For what it may matter, know that you are not alone in this situation. Thousands of them out there are like this. It is how some of us are made and there is nothing wrong in it
Does anyone else put this on while falling asleep? Closing your eyes and imagining you're floating through space in your suit with the static in your headpiece and yet completely content in that moment of absolute helplessness.
Yes!! It's absolute chilling and atmospheric, although my love for space and all that, what I imagine the most it's me walking through city ruins, with overgrown nature and a dark and heavy atmosphere, It's just incredible
I usually imagine being in my own space station floating out there in the vast emptiness between galaxies, where "you can do no possible harm to anyone and no harm can come to you". There's an atrium within the station where I can walk between evergreens while watching the beauty of the cosmos through large high-tech windows. And there's also an office room like 100 x 100 x 100 meters across with a single desk and a single chair facing a transparent wall of an enormous scale where I can see the Universe as it is.
I absolutely love the chattering radio samples in the background of the first track. It gives off this industrial feeling. Not gritty industrial, but I imagine myself being in the empty control room of an industrial plant somewhere. Just, dark grey and brown control consoles all over the place. The sound of tape moving on reels. Flashing rectangular buttons of numerous colors. Mostly orange though.
Visions of mission control, a relic from the late 60s, memories of the hustle and bustle, the chatter amongst all as all the while minds fixed, floated amongst the stars. In and out, that nostalgia for a hopeful time, the wanderlust.
did you ever play the game by playdead games titled "INSIDE"? It sounds like you would enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of that game, I'd strongly reccomend playing that game, it's a great work of art! the soundtrack was also recorded through a human skull (or played through) I can't remember exactly how they did it now but you can also watch the making of the game on youtube / online somewhere.
I like such ambient too. It gives me some pictures of long abandoned city or some place either overgrown or frozen with still working radio towers. Very inspires creativity in this ghost town /post apocalyptic genre
My life has completely changed since the start of the pandemic. I have become an absolute nobody, when I used to be the opposite before. I had a full-time job, friends, responsibilities, a vision, love. All that taken away in just a few months. I am NOT suicidal, but since all of this happened to me, I have felt a certain attraction to "leave," be "out there." I can't quite explain it but this is how I feel. I feel like something is out there calling me. The music on this channel has helped me a lot imagining. I like to meditate or fall asleep with this on, thinking that I am in the "out there" that I can't quite seem to describe.
It's Saturday night and raining off and on all day. Perfect night to stay indoors and listen to another great collection from the mystros from Cryo Chamber.🌙
Rick Walker ... Thank you Rick. Dark Ambient music does have a way of expressing a different kind of emotions and thoughts that no other music genre has. There's no comparison. Dark music stands alone and proud. I like that🌞
Perfect soundtrack for Stasis, the dark sci-fi point and click adventure game I'm playing at the moment. I've consistently been able to find amazing soundtracks for all types of game genres and settings on this channel, very grateful to Cryo Chamber for their content.
wow this is an underrated mix. I love the vibes that i am getting from this. if i close my eyes and let my mind run free. really does in a way feel like i'm leaving the comfort of my clustered urban living room and drifting far away from mankind to places more lonely than the loneliest places earth has to offer. a dark horizon is a fitting name because past that is a place where no one has gone before...
Sebastien9004 you sound pretty musically literate to me- you don’t have to be a music snob to appreciate good music. You have a good ear, and can describe what you like about it- I’d say that’s all that matters.
That's why I'm glad I have RU-vid Premium, no ads and the creators still get money. Or use adblock, but only turn it on for ambient music if you also watch other things. Quite often, RU-vid will actually put ads in videos even if the creator didn't, so I use either of those options because I totally agree.
Time slows down when your baptized by fire. What where suppose to be calls for help and cries of sorrow become nothing but electronic noises as the gentle glow of excited matter begins to tear into your body. In a matter of a minute, what seemed like eternity was now gone. You are now remembered of the great streak of light that everyone saw on TV.
I always come back to this channel's top quality playlists and collections to recharge my social batteries, and to use some of this as ambient noise for my RPG sessions. Awesome as ever!
I know it's not exactly the same thing, but this image (and the music) always reminds me of the ring gate system in the Expanse books. Very ancient, and haunted by incomprehensible dark gods.
have your self in a room no other noise nothing else is on or playing you will start to hear the sound of the physical dimension. im not joking or being funny.
all i can hear in an isolation tank is my deafening hearbeat and the roar of air both in my ears and from my breathing. In deap caverns where there is near perfect pitch dark and enough ambient sound to co-incide with my body, it's epic enough to be what youre describing.
Where do we end, and where did we begin; what remains and what is lost. Where does the Universe lead, and what is the purpose of it. This journey is quickened by sounds such as these.
