Such a great mod! I changed a few things myself with a resource pack for personal use but the sounds are so high quality and makes the game much more immersice
this mod is so satisfying. i remmeber actully trying to explore the world to find a place to set up a base. found a nice little beach, and i cant say i had felt that much at peace for my entire life.
this is genuinely one of my favorite mods just because it can be used anytime in any server and it just adds so much fucking life to the world. I love the birds chirping so much
the leitmotif that plays when you go under bedrock is from this mod right? it sounds so good it plays sometimes when loading into a server too when its taking a while, its just very fitting to fall in the void to
@@CreativeMDModsi know I'm like nine months late, but one I do know is your Jungle/Sparse Jungle soundtrack- the laughing bird there is a kookaburra, which wouldn't be caught dead in a jungle. It threw me for a loop on the first time hearing it but I still love the heck out of the mod. More bird-of-paradise calls may fit there, I think Edit: that was also the 1.18.2 version, you may have changed it and I didn't know
I decided to use this to make mc feel immersive when I played with those scary mc mods that were popular a while ago and now for some reason I'm terrified of the bird sounds in dark oak biomes or taiga forests. I hate hearing it so much that I completely mute the audio in those biomes. Still a fantastic mod
I have been having just the damnedest time figuring out how to mute the Crows. Other than that this Mod is really appreciated for adding ambience. Just wish I could figure out if there's a slider for the Crows or not. Well, so now it feels kinda wrong to alter the Mod itself, but I ended up just opening the .jar and deleting all the Crow sound files so they couldn't play. I've also noticed there's no rain sounds for when you're standing underneath a block, so even if you stand under a tree's leaf block the sounds completely stop.
@@CreativeMDMods I'm sure you've given that line of advice a million times and I have found and used the command, but there is no slider that I have seen that controls the Crows sounds and only those. I think the best that could be done was muting the Surface region sounds but that silences more than what's desired. That you for replying though and trying to help!
@@CreativeMDMods Oh. Literally, the only region I didn't bother checking cause I was in a Stoney Shore biome bordering Plains and Warm Ocean. Also thank you for that debug command hint.
A lot of the bird calls are far too loud, like the thing is right in my ear. If I turn the ambient volume control down to where the bird calls have a reasonable volume, I can barely hear anything else.
You can change the Ambient/ Environment in the sound menu or you can use the command /cmdclientconfig to configure the volume of each sound induvidually.
First off, excellent mod! Very much so necessary, especially in jungles where a lack of ambience just seems... wrong, somehow. Anyway, I'm using it with Biomes O' Plenty for 1.16.3 but I've noticed certain biomes are devoid of sound, such as the Cold Desert, but most others work just fine. So, I was wondering if this is a problem on my end or a known issue. Thanks!
how do I mute the cricket sound or whatever it is at the start of the video, I downloaded this and the thing plays non stop, I'm actually going insane from this
Hey man. I saw in the mod wiki you said its possible to modify using a resource pack. and i was where are the audio files located id be interested in trying a Mono version. Personally find the stereoness of it distracting since it doesnt react to the player movement. (have no clue if being mono wont be more distracting but it could work for that shitty simulation feel minecraft has) and possibly design and go record some own sounds to it as a little hobby project.
You mean some sounds are different on right and left ear? There is a weird effect when turning the view, but that will not be fixed even if the sounds are mono.
Love the mod but using it along side serene seasons kind of breaks the immersion, especially in winter when snow suddenly starts making rain sounds. probably just have to live with it i guess
I love this mod so much. Can't play without it. I have one small sugestion tho. The rain sound seems a bit weird when you're under a block. It's pretty loud when you're in the open, you put just one block over your head and the rain is like 10x quieter, almost gone. Could that be possibly improved?
I have been using this mod for ages but want to update to 1.21. I could not find a version of this mod for 1.21. I understand that the update only just came out and I don’t know how long it takes to update it to 1.21 but I would greatly appreciate a version that supports it, unless it already does and I couldn’t find it.
Great mod, but unfortunately it aint work correctly in 1.14, sound loops reset way to fast as mentioned in the website. Any ideas when it's gonna be fixed?
@@CreativeMDMods Alright, still an awesome mod to use, if you really get into the game, you don't really notice the sound loops reset :). Also, will the upcoming version 1.15 have the same sound engine, or the mod will hopefully work?
@@CreativeMDMods Yeah I'm trying to fix it (probably for over 2 hours now) but it just doesn't work. I can make it as dark as I want the cave ambience just wont play. So even though there is no light source it's still not playing. I really love your mod I just wish the cave ambience would also work :(
@@Mr.Reality Can you post this issue on github including a screenshot after you typed in the command /ambient-debug (go to a place where you think it should play a cave sound).
@@CreativeMDMods love the mod so far but i noticed some of the audio loops are way too obvious where they cutoff and start looping, would be great if that is changed since it breaks immersion
@@blackdragoniv1282 Yeah ... but that's not because of the sounds, but due to the new sound engine of minecraft. Something is messed up completely which causes the sounds to play for 4 seconds and then start again.
im trying to download the 1.8.9 version which i know is a long time ago but i wanted some help, whenever i download it, it comes out as a .zip instead of a .jar. Anything i can do?
@@CreativeMDMods I haven't used any sound mods for a long time, but the last one i had required Liteloader and the sounds were in resource packs that you just used like texture packs. Hence my confusion!
@@CreativeMDMods nice!!!!! I love this. This just adds so much. This paired with sound filter and shaders are magic. Sadly the last one doesnt work since im in a modpack and optifine messes with almost everything lol
@@CreativeMDMods but the mod is only 1.14.3 That's what I'm trying, but I don't think they will support forge anymore... Any other way? Like a manual install or something?
hello, i would like to ask about the nether ambience. as you know, the nether already has extensive ambience in vanilla. and im afraid that this mod overrides those with new ones, is this the case?
