Thank you so much for the video and the great feedback, really excited for our future and to keep you updated throughout the process. Can’t wait for our continued work together 😉 ❤️🤝
control pad similar to zero but textured sounsd great! venus pro is my secondary pad atm but the slower speed on this seems like a better fit I also remember watching crunchy's val streams/twitter early on and seeing you shill artisan pads haha
Mousepad market at the time is Artisan or nothing. LGG didn't even make pads then and no one looked into it! Needless to say we're even more doomed in OCE. Everyone solely used the G640/GSR-SE/QCK pads or even whatever random piss 20 dollar pad you buy in store. The only cheaper niche pad at the time which was good was the Aquacontrol+ available at Ausmodshop, but they were also tiny and unknown to the local community until now where they are the retailer for all the niche items. Won't leak any numbers but you'd also be surprised how much free promo anx sales I've brought for them over this duration too 🤣
@@its_yifang oh yea I completely understand, especially with the humidity issues you guys suffered from. even with some other options in NA it felt like artisan or the black/white ac+ were the only real goto pads at the time while everyone else used the gsr-se. good times lol
@@rhapsoz Yeah our countries are quite humid, although not as often as anywhere near tropical areas. However humidity is beyond just the air humidity and when you get that summer 30+ degrees, your arm sweat itself is adding MASSIVE drag to the pads even through an arm sleeve. All pads are affected by this even the artisans (it's so noticeable using my pads when I'm hot and sweating vs fresh out of shower and body is dry etc). Completely different experiences, even worse when it was those pads we were talking about like worn GSR-SE and G640s... Absolute nightmare.
FOCUS LIKED THE VIDEO ENOUGH TO SUPPORT A GIVEAWAY SO CHECK IT OUT NOW! Entries close on 22/05/2023 Australian Timezone. twitter.com/its_yifang/status/1657627487898341377?t=7a7SN36WcJ-sIiwZB3rDMA&s=19
Thanks for the review, I was actually looking at gaming sleeves on lethal gaming gear cuz I'm in North America. however I got curious because when my sleeve came in I was kind of blown away by the feel and quality of it. reminded me of my under armour sleeve that I've had for over 10 years so I ended up ordering the mouse pad as well and I'm really excited to test it out. Ive mained a Venus pro and a Saturn pro but I kind of wanted something in between this kind of sounds like that. I just wish down the line they make a red color for both to match my set up.
If you like sleeves, LizardSkins performance is the best sleeve I have tried to date by quite a stretch too, now that I've A/B tested it against the Focus one on more pads. Can't recommend that one enough, you should look into picking one up!
@@Cheeky.69 LizardSkins sleeve in OCE costs around $30 I believe, it is a Baseball sleeve. You can find it from sports store websites, especially the Baseball ones.
Awesome, been watching focus for quiet a while. Awesome to see they are getting the pad out. Very good news. Guessing Lethal are gonna be selling in US? Great review man, thumbs up. And yes Venus is in my top 3 pads personally.
Maxgaming has but idk how that will work for you guys in NA. Don't worry though, insider info tells me you will soon have your NA retailer. Announcement from Focus will be this week.
There are different meanings of get into esports. Player? Get to the highest rank and try join teams or ask others you meet in that rank to play tournaments with you. Media/staff etc? Follow pages and keep an eye out on events to see if there's openings just like as if it were a job application.
Hey yifang, ive seen since the microphone review that you mainly show the pulsar x2 on your pad. Is the pulsar x2 your main again from the xm2we? Also appreciate your reviews
Great observation and much love for the support on the channel! Indeed I have switched back to the X2 about 2-3 weeks ago for fun and have been enjoying maining it. However I will happily use XM2we again and probably will end up back on it given another 2 months 🤣. However, a good friend and long term supporter of his channel has recently gifted me a new mouse. I thought I would absolutely hate it and just use it for a game or two before reviewing and letting it sit in the box... But well let's just say my performance has been through the roof and I'm in shock. I don't want to like this mouse!!! Yet I cant deny that I am aiming like a madman using it!!! AHHH!!! Don't worry, video for it will hopefully come out in 2-3 weeks as I am busy this weekend so I'll be super backlogged on reviews 🥲
reminds me of what the memoria pro is sounding like it's going to be- a textured zero/lgg saturn pro. More power to you if for once you actually get good shipping in AUS/NZ though!
@@its_yifang lol yeah I already joined it but I'm in US and lgg either hasn't stocked the ambition or it's OOS. Looking forward to it and if the ambition ends up better then I'll have to snag one!
I feel like there are beginning to be to many zero-esque mouse pads on the market. I understand as a new company, you want to bring out a safe mousepad as your first release though. I wish companies would take risks and bring out something like a textured mud pad.
I can't even disagree, but the mass majority dislike mud pads nowadays and perform so much better on medium to fast so companies aren't interested in mud pads... They won't sell...
Alright so quick question to you. I tried QcK Heavy G640 Razer Gigantus / Gigantus v2 Artisan Zero xsoft/soft Artisan Hayate Otsu xsoft LGG Saturn Pro/ Venus Pro Pulsar ES2 GSR I've also tried them with multiple mouses like Boardzy X2, Bruce Lee X2 Mini, GPX (Corepad ctrl skates), Razer Viper V2 Pro, DAV3, Lamzu Atlantis. I am using fingertip. The problem is ... the only combination that works for me is GSR + GPX (without a disk on the bottom) and I am looking for a better quality, durability mousepad and also some other mouse for it since GPX is kinda outdated. About the mouse, I think it's only because GPX has huuge skates = control but I have no idea of any other mouse with big skates and similar GPX shape. What about mousepad would you recommend to try?
If you want huge skates, XM2we might be what you are looking for, but it's not using the highest tier sensor either right now. As for mousepad if you liked GSR then I don't think you'll like any modern day high end pad because they are all faster. Maybe look into the Soku Akai?
@@its_yifang @Yifang I haven't tried XM2we but it has similar shape to Atlantis and it was really the only mouse that I felt main using. My there was like no space for my small finger for my fingertip grip. Like I can't find any other slow mousepad. Maybe I'll try CTRL corepads skates for my gpx (with a disk) and both X2. I still managed to get Immo3 but you probably know the feeling that something is not right :D I am CS 1.6 vet 2010r first 1.6 lan and everyone was using high sens back then since sensors weren't that good to follow with a high sens 0.3 sens 800dpi and raw input off = low sens imo
