I am confused because unusually, some adult bulls can be seen together with this breeding herd. The two bulls marching with the first half of the herd appear to be in musth, but the last huge bull doesn't. Are the first two following the breeding herd for mating purposes? If they are, then what about dominance? And is the big bull in the back a decent animal when not in musth, so does the matriarch allow him to spend time with the herd (as it was the case with the legendary Big Tim)?
The two bulls at the beginning were definitely with them for breeding purposes and I guess the huge one at the rear is with herd as it was making it's daily route to the watering hole. But I'm not sure.
