The new Ambrogio twenty ZR doesn't need a perimeter wire it uses its Radars to detect where the grass ends and an obstacles.

how about the edge of the lawn? will it cut to the edge?

If the edge is patio, it will cut over the edge, if the edge is raised then sit 10-15cms

Is this just area detection phase or the actual mowing? Does not it move in parallel lines? Looks pretty random to me.. How big area will be uncut around obstacles? Thanks

It is mowing, it does not have a detection phase as it is always checking what is in front of it. The mowing pattern is random on the ZR. If it senses an obstacle then it will turn around and leave about 15cms.
