Ambulance boxes are built to protect the people in the back in the event of a crash there are numerous strong points throughout the frame of the box and they can be very strong .
That truck body could have made a good storage unit. Seems like everyone is quick to destroy and throw away things that can be easily repurposed these days. It's built stronger than a tough shed ! Oh well !
We all ride that struggle bus from time to time Cowboy! It happens to everyone! I personally enjoyed watching you trash that thing! lol of course it’s easy to sit back and watch it knowing you don’t have to clean up that mess afterwards! 😂
Hey cowboy I'm a loader operator at an auto recycling yard in Connecticut next time you are trying to crush the corner of one of those ambulances or something like that try starting with the forks up high and tilt them down at like a 45 degree angle so you can use the weight of the machine and the force of the tires driving forward to help crush it once it starts to go tilt back while going down and it should pop those sturdy corners on that box
@@CowboyCarCrushing We have a fairly small crusher I have to smash just about all of the 2nd cars that go in some of those Subaru B pillars are nooo joke lol
You know what Cowboy piss on the haters. Do what you do because your good at it. Funny how the ones that can't try to tell you how to do it. If you didn't make mistakes you wouldn't be human. The only time it's a fail is if you quit and walk away. This makes great content. Much love brother. Thanks for the video.
Wow Cowboy ,i thought you were going to make a career out of getting that Ambulance in the crusher. You need to put abit of hair around the opening of the Crusher to get them big boys to slide on in a little easier. Lol.
The clean up wasn't bad at all. Sure appreciate if you could you would. That's freaking cool. The goal is not to make the situation worse. Move things along without extra effort. I don't like when I make more work. I didn't like that crush. Still thinking about how to do it better
The problem is aluminum doesn't crush like steel, it rips, cracks and breaks. I see some scrap outfits just using big dumpsters for this stuff so it doesn't matter if it's all kinds of loose pieces.
That's an interesting crasher I ain't never seen one like that before the ones I have seen have been the big ass Crashers and the shredders if y'all had one of those that wouldn't be a problem at all lol but I get it cuz those are expensive and if you don't have the funds to maintain stuff like that that could be a problem
😢😢😢 I miss being at the yard.... Stupid pit bull attacked me and the yard I worked at wants 100% clearance. I have a disability now and can't get cleared...
@@CowboyCarCrushing I'm debating on recerting my TDLR and going to my little brothers yard and just drive the rollback. My grip on the left side is completely demisinished...
Louisiana doesn't have counties, they have parishes. So it's not a Louisiana sticker. I couldn't get a good enough look to tell for sure but I think maybe Michigan.
26:25 "too much cream on the Taco 🌮 "nah that's a crunchy 🌮 Taco that needs more cream just to hold it all together 😂.....cream it over & over with the crusher
Don't worry it's a trial and error process one day you'll find the best way to deal with them we don't get ambulances like this I would love to get hands On one to convert into a camper box like that an easy mount onto a chassis for custom hauler maybe when I .I've over
In my experience none of crushes the same. It's a little different each time. I do pay attention and willing to try a different way. If there was some repetition we could learn something
I just don't have the time and also some customers don't like that. I would have to pay for them just like anyone else would. And that's understandable it's their stuff
Why didn't you take all that wood out? Wood and metal don't mix and lowers the value of the crushed bundle. You would've been doing the owner a favor if you had told him all that wood has to go in a dumpster and he knows that he would get a better scrap price out of it without all that wood in it. I just don't know, Cowboy, if I was crushing that ambulance I'd tell the owner all that wood has got to come out.
Bubba this ain't the 1st time we have crushed for those folks. Not the 1st time we crushed ambulances either for them. They know exactly how it works. Remember I'm just a hired gun. 🤠👍
@@CowboyCarCrushing Do the other truck body and ambulance to be crushed have any wood in them? They must be super keen to get rid of these if they're willing to take a chance that the steel mill might reject the load because of too much wood in it or knock a chunk of money off the scrap steel price for sending it in with the wood in it. I might just have an opinion, but these folks should know that clean steel gets a way better price, if you haven't already loaded and shipped them.
I know nothing about crushing cars I have a question that might be the answer could the top be cut off low enough to where it'll fit in the crusher or is it to reinforce to cut ? Or heated enough to where you could bend them with the loader and then smash the roof down?
If at 1st you don't succeed try try again . If all else fails , just scatter it everywhere and worst thing that can happen is y'all just got a little clean up to do . At least y'all aren't at the office and having to work with people Mario doesn't like . No matter where your working it could always be worse . Fun watching your video .
hey look at it this way... more experience you now have for the future. hopefully someday when you pass it on to someone else they wont make the same mistake
