That's a very good full tour on that ambulance. However (and I'm not taking any of that away from you), the only thing that you should have done was wait for the "wait to start" (glow plug) light to go off before starting the diesel engine, when the glow plugs have enough time to heat up the engine. That way it will start up faster.

@@walterkopec Hey! Unfortunately I don't think I'd have any answers for you, my ambulance has been sitting since I got it haven't had the time or money to put into it yet
When I hear IDI's I think of how many ambulances with that engine saved people's lives, and everybody says oh they're dogs they have no power they suck they don't start, well they use them in ambulances they can't suck that bad.
