Last week I ordered everything for my build before seeing this. Doing the exact same motherboard, CPU and GPU. But a bit more on the RAM and Storage. All going in a Corsair Carbide Black 275R.

I just went with the same motherboard and CPU two weeks ago. And about RAM, I went for 2x8GB 3000mhz G. skill RAM, but 1x16GB is also fine, you could just get another 16GB stick one day and it will work just fine. Difference is maybe 3 or 4 FPS more in games, so it's nothing major if you ask me.
@@lukassnr1503 Well, you can take a look at any comparison, and you will usually notice a few FPS difference. It's the same as benchmarks. You will notice difference in numbers, but probably not in real life scenario.
@@ivanuremovic1199 you don't know what you talking about buddy. Go ahead and play assassin's creed odyssey and show me your 3-4 fps. And that's a very good example of a game that is basically unplayable on single channel memory
@@lukassnr1503 I never told I tested it by myself, but it also depends on the game you are playing as far as I saw on some videos. In some games there is barely any difference, while in some games (like Assasins Creed you mentioned), there is actual noticeable difference. Don't ask me about other stuff, I'm not an expert, I was just stating my opinion.
@@ivanuremovic1199 the problem is that you stated your opinion as if it was a fact. And the fact is that when we are talking about gaming there is whole list of games that dual Vs single channel (1 stick Vs 2 sticks) gives very noticeable changes in performance. If someone want to save some money on their setup going for a single stick of ram is a very bad thing to do. The bottleneck in ram throuput is simply too much. In order to not have a bottleneck you need to run your single stick at twice higher frequency (for example 2166 Vs 4000) but when it comes to ddr4 modules and ram speed of 3000/3200 there simply isn't a ram available with 6000mhz
I’m 2 months late but you shouldn’t leave the static protective bag below the mother board because it has a conductive material on the outsides and I know you put a little foam pallet but I wouldn’t think that’d be enough. Regardless though pretty helpful vid.
You spent $130 on a case when you could have bought better ram to run dual channel, or even upgrade your gpu to a rtx 2060 ko. But other than that you did a very nice and smooth build.
Finally a "Proper" build video - so many others are just unboxing and "tadaaa!" its BIOS time... Just bought the MSI Tomahawk Max II, a Ryzen 5600X and 4x 8GB 3000 Crucial ram... Linking that lot up to an old 550w 80+ Corsair PSU and six old Seagate Barracuda 7200Rpm Sata's.... 180-640GB. (Plus about 34TB of external USB 3 drives) Also bought a new Samsung 32" monitor, but not sure if its 4k or 8k - I was drunk. But it was expensive, I know that... For now its just an old 1050 Ti OC 4GB, but at some point I'll upgrade that to something with teeth. 2nd and third monitors are a Samsung 42" TV (720p) for video and an Ilyama 22" touchscreen (1080p) for menus etc in game. I play a lot of RTS so although the physical screen is smaller, the increased resolution on the 32" should give me an advantage. I do have a projector as well, but I usually only use that for driving games.... its only 480p, but you tend not to notice little details when you're doing 220mph.... And I know its incredibly geeky - but that touch screen really does make you feel like you're on the ship... The X series of space games never felt so real. I was tempted to sell it to a local shop at one point as a till / Point of Sale device... glad I didn't - getting far more out of it now. Just took a little research and programming (thank you You Tube!). I think with a decent SSD for boot and primary programs, plus a GFX upgrade..... a decent system for years to come... but even now - yes its a bit slow... but it works just fine.
i have 2 fans there intakin there n it droped gpu temps -4, i removed my front panel completely, only got 2 fans on front intake atm, third one broke n even then my gpu reaches max 64 degrees, RTX 2060 with 100% usage
@@MASTERPROis becouse you are stupid so is builder of this system. Amd runs better in dual channel mode!!!!!! You get better performans out of it.LEARN THAT ALREADY🤦♂️
Built the exact build, followed the on screen instructions, coming to fire it up completely dead no life at all in the machine, All parts completely brand new even the case.
Many thanks for your email, tried 3 different power supply still no life, also tried different ways, I E , removel of Ram, graphics card, was thinking of removing the heatsink cooler having a look at the cpu, front panel connections are all, in the back of my mind have I fried it, all the work was done on the box it came in ,also wearing a static wrist strap.
Problem solved, checked the cpu which came away with the cooler heat sink, Cpu wasn't locked in properly, now up and running thanks for your help and info.

@@shashanksingh8210 Not really. If you are willing to lower the details of games after some time, it's probably gonna last about 4 years. If you are gonna build this exact pc, go with a cheaper case, and buy two sticks of ram (dual channel is better)
I believe the answer your looking for is No .you dont need a x570 motherboard to support a 3600 ryzen or any 3rd gen ryzen. A b450 or x470 mainboard will support 3rd and even 4rth gen ryzen when its released.
Well, nice build but I’d personally spend a couple more bucks on the case, psu, cpu cooler and ram. It really makes a difference in the long run, especially since you can use those parts for future builds and upgrades...
KL Gamers hey question so I’m getting b450 tomahawk motherboard and the case it comes with has 6 pre installed fans where do I plug all of the fans into to make them work? Do I plug them into the motherboard or power supply

To begin, nice build! I know i'm late...but things i would different: Front io cabling, use the top corner gap on the right. Use a 512 GB m.2 ssd/nvme, this for less cable(management). HD-audio, use the bottom left hole AMD logo at 12 o'clock, by unscrewing/thighting the four srews on the cooler. and as mentioned a lot....use a different ram stick, it hurts my eyes :D
It is called DDR(Double Data Rate) for a reason. By sticking only one RAM stick in there, you are effectively cutting your memory bandwidth in half, hindering any kind of performance gains. You should add a second stick in there.
I ordered those im getting the pc in 2 days or tommorow, cant wait to see the performance, i think its a bit different but the processor is the same and motherboard.
