Yes, You're right... only gas mask can't protect acids fumes...

That's why small refiners do this kind of work in a fumehood or outdoors in a well ventilated area. These conditions have been met in this video.

@@toomuchdebt5669 a well ventilated area still isnt as safe as you think when fumes turn to gas and its impossible to see what is happening, than you have mother nature blowing wind at any direction it wants especially when winds change around buildings or even in valleys. @@toomuchdebt5669 large businesses still use fumehoods, definitely not all since electrowinning is the easiest method when dealing in large scales. They have much bigger fume hoods though especially those refining only jewelry

if 1st step added hcl to remove tin, I need more couple day's to processing full batch...

@@TrinityGoldRecovery Its the same process but the only thing different is we remove solder first. A couple wqys to do this. Let the pins sit in HCL till the reaction is over than wash with hot water 3 times than processed as normal for you, we than remove base metals. Boiling in HCL is faster than wash like the other method. Lastly 5% to 10% nitric acid with water plus granular citric acid, let the reaction finish than wash with hot water. I wouldnt say its easier, just sloppy but thats only my opinion.

@@TrinityGoldRecovery my advice has been very helpful up to this point for you. Ill try it your way once. Everything taught and preached to us has always told us to remove tin first whenever possible. So thats why I comment on it, its like OCD

@@TrinityGoldRecovery it doesnt take long to remove tin. You can do it room temp or heated. 30 minutes to a couple of hours. If your way works stick with it. Do you have cerqmic dishes? When heating your beakers its best to use something because eventually a beaker will break or you will have a run away reaction, this way you catch everything if that happens.
