Thanks man! It's a Trashcan, 32GB Memory, 512GB SSD, 6-Core 3.5 GHzs Xeon E5. I got this back then quite cheap on eBay when they announced the new Cheese-grater in 2019. I'm still convinced by the machine, always wanted to have a Mac Pro/Power Mac. So finally, I could afford. I'm still happy with all the I/O, being able to connect everything at once, rather than using wacky USB-C hubs on a Macbook. However I also have to say that due to my job I got an M2 Pro-Macbook and this has changed completely my workflow when producing my videos. Switching to that machine for Final Cut is such a No-Brainer and the only reason using the Trashcan is having the I/O capabilities and using the MacBook for my Job. And connecting the latter to a screen for video-editing.

Really nice idea, but why don't you load your chopped breaks intro Ableton's Drum-rack (assuming you've Ableton but I believe all DAWs have a similar feature)? And disclaimer: I have a MPC 2000 laying on my couch but disconnected.

@@MarcRenton Oh man the new mpc's are amazing for the kind of music you (and I) make! Extremely quick hands on chopping, many ways to sequence complex edit on breaks easily. I used Ableton since Ableton 7 until Live 11, but pretty much only use my mpc now. It makes production very fun for me, worth a try

@@UK-nf3ui Understood, the new ones make sense. But I have a MPC 2000 and just see no reason why I should chop it in there.

@@jamescox1278 big up James, I've got the One at the moment but also have had the Live 2. Prefer the One. Also have the Studio mk 2 controller to control the software when I move my projects to the computer
