This dude is a major talent and I hope it translates to the NBA. Going to be playing against years of experience. No doubt he has the mechanics and athleticism, so that alone is evident, but I hope he can soak up the experience and scouting process. If it's one thing the Black Mamba has shown us, it is the work that goes behind the scene of a player that gets progressively better each season that becomes a star.
Has a strong feel for driving. His career is going to dictate on how fast his jump shot adapts to the pace of the league. If he improves his shot, the rockets can be a scary high offensive running team
@@Emin-mh1rvare u mentally challenged mate? They obviously don’t mean he is as good as magic but has the same style in transition… get your head out of your behind you flipping MOOK.
Imo it was neck-and-neck with him and Scoot as #2 guy. I think Miller will be ok, but I have a feeling he may end up closer to Marvin Williams/Rudy Gay vs PG. Thompson is like a cross between John Wall and Jaylen Brown
This Man Has Great athleticism, Great Vision to find open teammates, Great Floor General Abilities, Great Ball handling, Kinda Shifty, He Uses the Necessary finish(But Can Jump And Finish over the Top Too, And He Has Good Defensive Skills and instincts, If Given the Chance He could Blossom into something Great!!
I think he could fit in perfectly. The Rockets just need a 3 and D player at the forward position (Cam Johnson ideally) and things would open up like crazy for him and Jalen. Would take a lot of playmaking pressure from Green away, an area where he is not really flourishing rn (apart from some P&R flashes with Sengun). The only questionable area is the Amen/Sengun one, where u have two of your starting 5 that can become weird defenders (depending on how they develop) alongside being bad shooters (which they will def be at the beginning). Nevertheless, I think 2 strong IQ+work ethic will figure things out : a Sengun face up with Amen cutting baseline will be a common play at some point. Amen also looks very smart and well spoken from what I’ve seen, so I hope that we take him at 4 !
He is better to my eye than Brandon Miller. He has great floor vision,he has a large thick athletic frame. He can dominate most smaller guards in the paint. I hope he does fall to Houston As far as the shooting I think he will get better. I also like the fact he is not a teen
@@StanleyMay-rx1tx coz it’s not about me, it’s about the video that I’m speaking about. Oh and btw, I think you should be out there too! take the feedback receptively and not negatively. As they all say “truth hurts” ✌🏻
Huh? He shoots 25% from 3 with a broken ass jumper. He needs to overhaul his shooting mechanics. If he didn't have that major glaring hole in his game then he would be the number 2 pick.
@@NBANEWS365 Wemby has great shooting mechanics unlike Amen. Wemby definitely projects as the better shooter and shooting at his position is not nearly as vital as your PG being able to shoot. I'm not saying Amen won't develop a shot, it's just disingenuous to say his shooting is not a hole in his game, it certainly is and he will need to work on it. Same goes for Scoot.
Idk why it’s so funny to me hearing Agent as a commentator 😂😂. Amen is just under 6’6 with a 7’0 wingspan and impressive athleticism, I’m intrigued to see if his game translates.
All the people who are worried about competition dont realize this league is full of four and five star recruits just like college teams. Plus Amen played Euro pros overseas and put up 17,6, and 4 on 55%. There is competition everywhere. The G League, OTE, etc will be producing a lot more top draft picks in the near future. Its not 1998 anymore. That shooting form isn't all that bad either. He's smart and works hard, so I'm not worried about it not improving.
😂😂😂 are u kidding me this league is trash where Im this highlight did u see any defense being played he would not have gotten away with Amy of that in college defense is different I. College teams actually play with passion cause the games actually mean something they actually play9ng for a meaningful national championship what are these dudes playing for I literally don't care or watch the G league and I lo e basketball this is not basketball!!!
@@Bear520Downthat’s what i was saying. This is not a good measure of what high level basketball looks like. The amount of times he completely blew by his player would never happen at even the division 2 college level. He’s definitely talented but this is not high stakes basketball and is a bad measure of his real potential. When you have RU-vidrs announcing your games that should tell someone everything they need to know. Some people are making the argument that he’s playing against top prospects out of highschool but anyone who’s watched college ball knows that rarely ever matters. Most prospects in highschool go on to be subpar in college because they can’t adjust to the level of physicality and basketball IQ. Who he’s playing is irrelevant
They 💤 on the twins look like the best prospect 2 me n whe getting him at 4th @thehoustonrockets. The 1st three good but look like we getting the steal of the draft.
Gotta see him play against better talent cant really say if he’s a lottery player he ain’t dominating this league like he should if he’s a top 3 player
OTE is a hype factory. It’s almost like a game show. Spotlights flashing in the floor if one of the twins farts. The announcers better overly celebrate EVERYTHING the twins do because they are OTEs meal ticket. It’s generally bad basketball. There’s no accountability for bad plays, no real coaching, no preparation for the NBA. It’s kids who want to get paid to play but with zero expectations to play the right way. I personally don’t know if they’ll be good in the pros, I hope so. But I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both are busts. And I certainly want Orlando to stay away from them. I don’t trust the output of 20 year olds against teenagers from a gimmicky league.

Thank you. This is literally copy and paste. Amen just has more speed. That’s it. Both have that weird and ugly hitch to their shot that is not fixable.
@@hobowithagun24 Both twins are quicker, more athletic, better handles and better playmaking. Josh Jackson was a 3 and D basically with off the court issues etc. The Twins can be #1 options because of there skillets.
Why do I feel like in this draft, the team that wants to draft one of them will screw up the names and draft the wrong one (Ausar) who will become the better player. It is bound to happen.

Ik this has nothing to do with the video but Draymonf Green is one of those players nobody watch highlights lmao like Fr yo who tf watches draymond green highlights like literally types in Draymond Green highlights??
Hard to judge because competition is subpar what he would be getting elsewhere. Both of thrm will need to start season in gleague or settinf them up to being overblown fron the start and destroying them mentally. Need to prove they can play against gleague players before they even remotely ready for NBA
