We loved it all. The villa rooms were amazing. Exactly what you'd expect from a Westin. We loved that we could go surfing right off our own beach. There were lots of pools to choose from based off who you were travelling with. Lots of different pools to pick between depending on what you're wanting out of your vacation. We spent a lot of time at the water slide on the upper pool during the day and then hit the hot tubs later at night. The kids loved the big pirate ship water area and it was great that there was a shaded playground right next to it. There were free, live hula shows that happened at the resort ~2 times at day that were stellar. The nightly torch lighting was a highlight, they make that a bigger deal at this resort. Lots to love about this resort. You can't go wrong by planning a vacation here!
They’re both amazing choices. It really depends on what you, and the people you are going with like to do. This resort had a huge pool variety, and large kids area. But the Ocean club resort had surfing RIGHT off the resort. That was amazing. Both resorts have their perks.
