Forget Amenra for a second, and let's talk about Lingua Ignota: You had me at the Diamanda Galas comparison, so I checked out her latest record. She won me over by the middle of DO YOU DOUBT ME TRAITOR! Thanks again for another awesome band/artist recommendation!
I was really just using Amenra as a segue for Lingua Ignota. lol. She is something quite amazing. I played "Woe To All" for my mother this evening, and she wasn't having any of it. lol.
if all their music is like this I'm in...I actually liked his vocals...it worked well with the music...he sounds like a howling wind and they sound like an unstoppable world ending machine...you know the end is near, but they're in no hurry to do it...a really slow death.....I'm gonna take a look at her prank videos now...I never got round to it earlier...and holy shit!...Brazilian fart porn...it's a real thing 🤣...how the hell did you?.....wait on...nope...no...don't wanna know
He does not get it and he will never get it... or he does not get it yet. One of the 2. I did not get it when I started to know them, but I did after a short amount of time.
Sign me up for the Kult! LMAO at "I'm gonna let the dick out." I kinda liked the vocals at the beginning too... reminds me of Neurosis for some reason, though I can't think of their vox ever sounding quite like that. Overall I liked this a lot more than the last song you reacted to by them. I think her vocals were a little sloppy sounding, but am going to chalk that up to the live element for now. I may actually have to check out some studio stuff now!
@@TheMoralMisanthrope She fits good in here, that definitely adds a lot. The scenario in the video and the ambiance also reminded me of a certain Curch Of Ra video that I like, that also adds for me. "A Solitary Reign" is the better song.
@@conditionsunderground I agree. Solitary Reign is much better by far. I do believe that it is Lingua Ignota in the beginning. They seem to work with her a lot for shows, so it would make sense.
@@TheMoralMisanthrope They dont. They toured with her once. She joined them for 'Am kreuz' and 'Ritual' on the last part of the tour. Thats all theyve ever done together. Shes not on Solitary reign.
Dear Mr. Misanthrope, I really liked this tune. I agree with you that the dude's scream had an odd tone. However the big drop which occurred about 9 minutes into your video and Lingua's vocals made it worthwhile. Cats to all, Edward
Yeah, I really like Amenra for the most part, aside from those vocals. I love Lingua though, and she took that song to another level and created a whole different atmosphere for a moment.
you cant truly review/critisise Amenra based on a video. Amenra is an expirience you can only truly understand seeing them live. if you have the oppurtunity to go see them, please do, and then lets talk.
