Because she's barely Tsun and mostly Dere. That's what makes her good. Her "tsun" is less "baka, baka (punch)" and more "I need to keep a level head and serious demeanor as the student president." She's never mistreated, demeaned, abused, or otherwise done anything mean to Iruma. She's been one of two things: serious or sweet. And the seriousness is starting to crack.

It's usually used for dudes who spend lots of money on e-girls hoping she says their name or something. It's something pathetic, not romantic. "Crushing" is just a term for a strong romantic attraction, usually in a juvenile. There's an innocence in the word, and you'll see it used for things like a kindergarten student "crushing" on their teacher or something, though it certainly can be used for adults too. Crushing is often associated with cutesy displays of affection, like blushing, stammering, getting really embarrassed, etc., though those things don't necessarily have to be present for it to be a crush; I'm just using them as an example to demonstrate the nuance of the word. But seriously, humanity: get off the internet for a while and read a book. Your grasp of the language is devolving before my very eyes.
