Regarding bathroom doors, you're right that the front doors are relatively small. But the nearby bathrooms are separated by walls, not half doors. Regarding obesity, people along the coast/especially around big cities are mostly very conscious about their fitness.
As a person whom lives in usa for past 6 years , all the 20 points are true and point on good job madan 😀 but the short door in bathroom are to rescue and help people in critical situations
Hey Madan bro i am Raj from Canada 🇨🇦. Everything what you say is also normal in Canada since we are also North Americans. We also pronounce Z like US. If we go to restaurants they will add 15% tips on the bill and you must pay. It’s mandatory. Many times I buy Beer at Pharmacy after Beer store close at night time. 😀
Few things you missed In Gas stations you can fill the tank on your own Driving and road direction different from rest of the world Dollar volume is limited like 1,5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 In toilet, no water you should use tissue paper Each citizen owns gun to protect themself
We have a huge problem with guns but please note that the vast majority of guns are owned by a small part of the population. I am from the east coast. I have never owned a gun and no one that I know in my family or friend network has owned one (from what I know). It is mainly the people i view as crazy Republicans who are obsessed with guns, it's part of their identity. Many Americans think this is awful and are trying to change the situation. So don't think we're all like that. I am a pacifist. :)
To me the biggest difference is the freedom of speech. In the US, you can even flip off a police officer or even use profanity but you could not be arrested because you are protected by first amendment. No other country in the world can say this!!
Actress Meena husband passed away due to some infections spreaded from pigeon saliva on air in bglr. Please put a video on that in detail for creating awareness living in bglr.Thank you madan.Big fan of your work.
My husband (American) & I really enjoyed this video, I only wish this had English subtitles He is learning Tamil but not there yet And I watch your videos a lot & teach him while I watch to help him learn about tamil culture It would be greatly appreciated if you could add subtitles so my husband can enjoy the video too 😄

A hindu poor tailor was brutely killed by muslims in udaypur in Rajasthan, they threaten to behead the head of modi also. Pro islamic madan how did u support these radical muslims. U r also silently supporting these
Thank you for sharing such an interesting piece of information about the lifestyle in the US. Very useful for those who are in dealing with international business education and business.
The most crazy thing which I couldn’t compromise in US is, no sprayer in Toilets🤪i was really surprised when I noticed it when I landed in Newyork hotel 10 years ago🥹🙄😂I m fine with half doors also because I personally feel safe for kids if they find trouble in locking system, they can easily come out through the down open space😄 And also they honor pregnant women , even strangers enquire about the health condition,, and give advice to the pregnant girls. I enjoyed my pregnancy journey here 🥰
@@karthikragavansperspective2492 maybe the design may not be safe in India,, here Female janitors are at work all the time in women s restroom portion. Gender wise it’s totally away from each. Just a feet length is open in the bottom , I have been living here for 10 years, I never thought of insecurity so far.on the other hand I always feel safe considering the kid hearing her voice..
@@hasiq6757 omg, it s not like how you imagine 😂it’s totally safe,, and private.only your shoes will be visible if someone bends over,, hope none does that here.. it’s completely safe,, no worries🙄
I study in the US and the thing I found most shocking was the tipping culture. I thought of tips as something used to reward good service but it is custom here. Sometimes they will be like " don't forget to tip" which kinda makes you obligated to leave a tip.
@@manivannanselvam3525 they won't say anything. Not usually but it is just not common to not tip. Also tipping is something all service providers looks for when they are giving you their service. It is considered rude to not tip them. The sad part is because these people have the lowest wage and mostly rely on tips to help them survive. And so a tip is really important for these people.
@@manivannanselvam3525 they won't say anything but it's considered very rude and will give you cheap looks if you don't. It is also in their custom to tip in American culture like you are expected to tip. Due to this I always leave a tip except for when I'm dissatisfied with the service.
1) In the US, people don't wash themselves after doing business in the toilet, they use toilet paper for everything. Living here, I have to buy a squeeze bottle for sauces to use as my washing tool. 2) Bathroom floor doesn't have a drain so you can't wash the floors but only mop them. The drain is in the shower area only. 3) In US, the people here will eat with their hands only for pizza or fried snack items however if they seen us (Indians usually) eating rice with our hands they'll think we are weird.
MG squad from california,USA 😀 While walking on streets strangers randomly wishing 'hello', 'hey there', 'hw u doing today' etc was also new and weird to me. Most importantly never heard anyone honking even a single time.
A hindu poor tailor was brutely killed by muslims in udaypur in Rajasthan, they threaten to behead the head of modi also. Pro islamic madan how did u support these radical muslims. U r also silently supporting these
21st unique in USA is, in there name if they use comma (,) in between there name means first name is actually last name and last name is first name example Allen,Earl here Aleen is last name and Earl is first name Comment me if it is useful
@madan I live in Canada, the real reason for bathrooms are wide open is because if any person who’s inside passed out or fainted, it’s easy to rescue and save them. That why the bathrooms are open here.
Tips: aama Madan, intha metric systems ellam kadupa irukum. namma oorula cm, m, ltr measure pannitu inga vanthu inches, ounces, galloon nu yabba mudila. ovoru time google panni convert panni thaan pathukanum. to be honest, namma 90% of the Indians tips eh perusa veikatom so avangale oru mathriya paapanga and avangalukula oru thought irukum Indians na ipdi thaan nu. tips: mandatory. athula enna highlight na 6+ people restaurant/bar pona avangale by default 15% or 18% tips eduthupanga. athukumelayum "Tips are appreciated" nu potupanga. company change: nan work pannuna/pannura companies la pathuruken 75% of the employees are working in the same company for over 20 years. nan manufacturing field might be athanaala apdi irukalamnu ninaikuren.
No, I have been working with US clients in a IT firm. All of my on-site partners have a minimum tenure of 15-20yr in the same company. The highest I have come across is 34yrs. They get amused see Indians changing companies so frequently 😆
Hi Madan! First I would like to thank you for all your videos. I started to watch your videos when you shared the M87 - SMBH image explanation, nan adula dan work pandren. I am Ramesh from Philly, PA. Enakkum toilet matter dan konjam shock ah irunduchi, apuram palagitten😅. Metric system ex, kg to lbs, liter to gallon, a huge amount of food in restaurants. Carry bags free, Europe la pay pannanum. Ellathukkume tax pay pannanum as you know , for e.g., juice bottle price 10$ na +1.5$ tax and internet bill 40$ na +4.85$ tax etc. public transport la adigama travel pannamattanga, I saw many times buses are empty. Bus la stop request sign (yellow color) press pannanum, otherwise they won't stop. funny thing, min bus ticket 2.5$, petrol price 1$/liter. Innum neraiya irukku 😀
We will prononuce 0 as 'zero'. They will pronounce as 'O'. They will pronounce hundreds instead of thousands. We will pronounce 1200 as thousand and two hundred rupees. They will pronounce it as 12 hundred dollars. We will say money. They will say bucks, grand,...
Few more interesting facts: - in bicycles, the back brakes are on the right hand and front brakes on the left - likewise, switches work differently, you press the top half of the switch to turn on an electronic device and bottom half to turn them off - it's very common to see tall buildings with no 13th floor! After 12, they mark the floor as 14 (in elevators, e.t.c)
👍👍👍👍 💙❤️🧡💛 Bro- ✏️Tips 15% at restaurants 🖌Toilet is also for safety if person inside fell down or any medical issues. Can be noticed.. 📍Coke, drinks.. the cup is big ..1 time if you fill that will be heavy.. it’s very unlikely to get 2nd time refills
Bro, having space under the toilets is also for emergency purpose. In case you want to exit out and if latch does not open or if someone becomes unconscious, to enter and save them.
@@Dickdash bro Where were you when you killed Muslims by saying Jai Shriram. That is why I am not saying that this Udaipur incident is right. who is the root cause of the problem said about the Prophet mohammed Nupur. So who is inciting those who are idle to kill
I am from America! I can undertstand tamil. Few things madan are not exactly true here let me explain. 1. Toilet design issue is not true entirely. I would say 50% of toilet are fully closed private area, another 20% are semi closed and other 30% would be open but not till knees, just a little over our ankles. Privacy is respected and understood here in USA, nobody will intervene another person's personal space not just in toilet but also in public areas. 2. Tipping is mandatory, but 25% is not required. Minimum of 15% is satisfactory in almost all places. Unless, if it is fancy hostel or restaurant then we are expected to tip minimum of 20% 3. Violence exposure to kids is not true. Yes, almost all movies and tv series now-a-days have violence. But here in USA, PG-13 is necessary to watch a movie in theatre or tv shows. 4. American smile is not true. Yes, we greet each with a mild smile but not the way madan explained here. 5. Pharmacy here in USA, we can also buy beer and cigarette. Yes, I am know it is wrong and not appropriate but thats how it has been for years. Overall, other things mentioned here are true. Thanks for reading, Love America
I'm living in Texas for the last 10 years - another thing which struck me when I first arrived here was the size of things - everything is HUGE in US, especially Texas I believe - even vegetables like onion, tomatoes, lemons etc are so big here. And the food portion per person (quantity) provided at the restaurants is too much.
Nearly 30 years ago I subscribed to a US magazine in India called SPAN.There sometimes they mention about black people, but the photograph of the persons are like pure white or Pink that of a European stock. Then only I understood that those persons born to Europen and African races (may be grand or great grand parent) are called black irrespective of their outer skin colo(u)r.
There used to be a category "creole", or mixed race, in the city of New Orleans. But this category disappeared after the Civil War. You're right, and sadly the U.S. has a huge problem with racism.
Most bizarre and shocking thing for me when I came to US 25 years ago was the food portions. When my sister got me banana split ice cream for the first time I thought it was for the family… nope it was just for me.
Hey MG you missed impo item.. Metrics system in USA.. here they follow pounds/miles/quart.. we say kilo hram/ meter/litre.. Also reason for bathroom is to rescue people during emergency..
