Austin has become the San Francisco of Texas. We went there on vacation to go downtown for the live music but when we got there it was dark, nasty, homeless everywhere and felt very unsafe. We stayed in our hotel for the night, canceled the rest of the week, and stayed in San Antonio. Best decision we made.
