This is spot on. We went along there to grab a breakfast and is the only place in the world you’re having your smashed avo on toast while a catwalk drag show’s going on right next to you.

This is the only place that isn't affected by the Homeless explosion. Go a Block west of Abbott Kinney onto Main, and you take your chances.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the wonderful walking tour. I didn't that the Venice Beach are had a nice upscale shopping district. I loved that scooter parking area. Never seen that before, I'm not sure if it's the coolest place, but definitely a unique place.

Beverly Hills is fine but Venice and Santa Monica do have a big homeless situation. I was there last week.

Love this area but it's unfortunately pricey to live nearby and is far from the current cool kid neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Los Feliz so the main crowd that hangs out there tends to be upper middle class mainstream trendy types despite it being mostly independent shops oriented towards hipsters. In NYC, it's comparable to Bedford Ave in Williamsburg but so much nicer looking. Bedford Ave is so dirty and run down and all the buildings are the same old architecture for that area.
