Laloni Chester I kinda don't feel sorry for her she needed to check her son long ago. Don't let slick relatives trap you in their dramas. they take their kids and go find other bleeding hearts.
Albert Ellis we must stop making excuses. there are many Black men who have no encounters with the law. Her disrespect towards a Black judge Speaks Volumes.... don't you think? Apple .......tree, perhaps? just saying"
@@purpledancer4914 you make no sense.. He as a grown man 28 years old who under her care has never been in trouble with the law.. Now is in trouble for armed robbery now tell me how that is her fault
Kashub Danite after a point a person is responsible for themselves I don't know about his first 18 years of life under her care but the last 10 have been a waste
Kashub Danite That wasn't the point I was trying to make. The judge wasn't doing anything wrong and it was the defendant who was disrespecting the judge.
It could go 2 ways. It could make him turn out like his father and be a criminal, OR it could scare him to the point where he realizes he doesn't want to be locked up like his father.
maybe she's on crack. she's so aggressive verbally, she's acting with her mouth the way guys that assault physically when they're all f-kd up on rocks.
well you can get angry on crack and fearless, that's what I'm saying. I've been attacked by an a-hole on crack and he was just annoyed for no reason, instantly it escalating and he couldn't be pulled away. nasty business, i wasn't even being rude, just honest, and it was in absolute public. complete stranger. that's it, you lose the inhibitions completely. she might tear off her clothes, but here she wants to show off her mom stuff, so she tells off a judge, not thinking, it's the genitalia talking, her head shut off. of course i'm guessing. You always get happy when you're high? You use crack? It always makes you happy? You are probably a nice person without too many chips on your shoulder. like alcohol for some people it doesn't make everybody always relax.
This case was all about respect. If she couldnt respect even the judge, she wont respect the plaintiff's order to not receive the collect calls from jail.
7:10 I love how when Pamela was disrespecting the judge, and Judge Ross was putting her in her place, Martha scorned her by saying "Pamela!" under her breath. It's almost like she was talking to her as if she was own child acting out of line. I don't know why but I just loved that. Judge Ross is a good judge from what I seen and he's very underrated. Pamela was rude and disrespectful and deserved to be shamed and thrown out of court. To get respect, you got to earn respect! Simple as that.
What the judge said about a child visiting a parent in jail is sooo true! He understood perfectly what the plaintiff was living, what was her situation about her son, her grand-son and the mother of the said child.
I'm very cynical of these American court shows, however I do find them rather addictive. I have to say, this Judge Ross is a very decent, sensible, well-spoken and compassionate fellow.
I’m skeptical of this show because there is a disclaimer that says something about it being re-enactments and on IMDb some of the people are listed as actors . Not accusing the people in this episode of that but I know that for a fact with some of them
@@1967gurka Except he's not? He was disbarred for misconduct and if you actually pay attention to some of the shit he says you'd see why. Like here him telling her she has no right to accept collect calls if the plaintiff says no That's not how that works. She has the right as a tenant to accept them, but she also has to pay for them. The plaintiff nor the judge has the power to say she can't accept those calls. He is an arbitrator which is all he's allowed to do because he's not an actual judge. Arbitrators have a very low burden with minimum authority.
@@dragames In 2005 the Commission on Judicial Performance (CJP) removed Judge Ross from office, stating he violated judicial canons pertaining to defendants' constitutional rights, public comments made on KCET, and his involvement in a television court show pilot.
@@FrankWolenczak hopefully you meant that to reinforce my point that Judge Ross was awful and anyone trying to take his word or his show seriously are being misled
If Rodney is so good(according to Defendant) he wouldn’t be in jail. If a Father cares and loves his Son, he would do everything to stay out of jail....
Sometimes kids choose the wrong path no matter how good their mother is. That man had a good mother and I hope his son makes her feel the pride she deserves some day. From one mum to another xx
If the young woman would have just admitted that she is responsible for the phone bill it would have been fine. I don't see whats so hard about reconciling that concept.
I know this is real, because I have a friend who was asked to go on the show. She was getting sued by someone and she got a letter asking her if she wanted to have her case settled on this show
It's not real - it's shot on a sound stage in Culver City. Each episode is based on a real case but they are dramatized by actors. I know that you are lying because I performed on this show.
@Aniya marie Scott There are interviews from judge Judy saying it is real and how she spent her life defending people and talks about law school she has been to. So it can't be fake
Poor child mom is ignorant wtf can a man that's incarcerated do for his child not a damn thing. Words of my grandfather if he has no job, car, place, or education don't give them the time of day.
That's great advice from your grandfather but let me ask you this... Should men follow that same rule when it comes to women if she has none of those things you mentioned?..
Asia Young Amen grand pa! and men know men! 62 single childless and we can do it. what's the sense of putting more confused Black kids in this world. help others with theirs and get our race together.
Or give him a good book some nice food and love him. Let him learn to feel love so that he might give love in return . My moto is, no good man left behind. Some men don't no they're good.
The biological mother said at the end "The judge did not want to listen to my point of view",He's not obligated to do s**t lady, you just couldn't take the fact that he has insulted you the way that he did,he's calling you out for what you really are,& that's disrespectful, ignorant,& rude.
The grandmother should have kicked her son out a long time ago instead of enabling him all his life. Dropping out of school should have been enough for her to step up and get him in check.
Judge Ross, I love watching your show every morning. You' re very professional, smart, wise and patient... I commend you for how you handle the stubborn litigants...Your Bailiff is the " Best'!!!!!!
While the grandmother can choose who can call collect, the mother has custody. This means, the mother has final say on who can or who can't contact her son.
Having both parents in his life if one is incarcerated I don't think that's a good idea having your father in your life I mean your dad supposed to be somebody you look up to he supposed to be your hero I don't know how somebody locked up could be that
0:52 With every outfit in that woman's closet to pick from, THAT'S the one she picks to wear to court? If you're going to court, dress your absolute best, show the judge that you're taking this seriously...Unless she was banking on the Judging thinking she was hot/cute.
JediMaji but you can use that same excuse for black men and has been used constantly in the media which is why Tamir rice has no justice neither did sam dubrose or Philando Castile ,people need to just realize that there are ratchet ass people and move on and stop using them as a representative for the entire black race, that mentality you have is what further breeds racism against black people ,period.Realize that there are hood black people, educated black people, nerdy black people, gothic and emo black people ,hoteps etc.We might be a minority but we aren't just one type of people.
Par Reech the problem is black boys don't perpetuate it,most don't.The problem is people like you blaming black men for gun violence and physical violence, why should race matter? Does not bother when other races of men engage in that activity, why most you shoe horn race in too issue that most times doesnt involve race.
Par Reech hell yes I typed it with a straight face and every word of my comment is true,it's people like you who push this idea,it's people like you are the problem.Never mind the countless other black men and boys who are out here just living their lives or making a difference in the world but simply because there are some who engage in violence ,somehow black boys perpetuate violence. Black boys don't perpetuate violence. There are some black boys,Hell there are some men and women (REGARDLESS OF RACE) who are just violent. Why does it have to be race thing.Last time I checked white people are responsible for most of crime in the country, that doesn't mean I just go out blaming white people as a community for crime.
You can take that sister out of the ghetto , but you can’t take the ghetto out of that sister! Disgustingly rude!! SHE doesn’t get it! Very bad influence for that little boy!! Shame! The grandma should have custody!!
Mom is not going to move her grandson out of the house. She's too invested and in her heart she's protecting him. The young lady is heavily invested in her son's father and will not hesitate to use the son as a bargaining chip to get what she wants. It's a very delicate situation they're in. 💯
Having both of his parents is one thing, disrespecting the woman you are living with by doing something you were told NOT to do don't cut it. Lady can afford to live by herself if sons SO isn't there racking up bills.
The defendant is obnoxious with a sense of entitlement. I am not sure advising that the plaintiff throw her out "yesterday" was in the best interest of the child that is caught in the middle unless the plaintiff is given full custody and that would never happen.
