@@riaranta3150 - he does get the point and his point is valid. "Where in the world do these pork dishes come from" doesn't make any sense if you're only playing within the US.
@@HahnKirby Good question. Real fans are well aware. But it never hurts to ask. Some folk would use this as an opportunity to feel better about themselves at the expense of another while also thinking they're above such things.
Holger I’m from New England and came down here to complain about the lack of New England knowledge and stumbled upon your reply.. I could not stop laughing for a solid 10 minutes bc NO ONE CARES😂
Ummm sorry but New Jersey is NOT in New England, Neither is Pennsylvania or New York. New England is comprised of all of the States North and East of New York. New Jersey is in the Mid Atlantic Region
@Steven Bristol The Tri-State area is used all over the place so it's not just unique to those three states. In Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area, the Tri-State area stands for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. I am sure this term is used in other areas of the US as well and stand for three other states.
Being a lifetime Pennsylvanian, it still boggles me that not everyone knows of scrapple! We grew up pan searing it and always had ketchup on the side with eggs. Glad you guys enjoyed!
I know; I usually ALWAYS say PA, but with how I worded my sentence, Pennsylvanian just worked. We're basically the only state that says the abbreviation instead of state when saying where we're from!
@@SmokeyTheBandit Maine, NH, Vermont, MA (where I live), Rhode Island and CT make up New England. If NY, NJ and PA were part of New England, those living in those states most certainly wouldn’t despise Boston/New England sports teams lol
@@brettg1495 Why not? If you live in Florida, you reflexively despise the "other" Florida college sports teams (those of your school's in-state rival).
"I breathed in spaghetti" legit cracked me up and I'm unsure as to why. Just the thought of someone having spaghetti in their lungs tickled me. I'm so easily entertained
I have never wanted to eat something so bad. Usually everything they eat I find gross. But I wanted to teleport through the screen and eat it with them.
As someone who lives and grew up in New England, I'm just here to inform you that New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania are not part of New England... 😉👍
Lmao, I wasn’t looking when they were describing the scrapple and then when I saw it I was ohhhh! I’m from PA so it’s funny that they don’t know what that is 😅
I’ve had Italian dogs growing up in north jersey, but if you’re going to do an episode about pork products and put NJ on the map.. how can you not include Taylor ham / pork roll????
well im from maryland so i know, but they are further south and I think scrapple isn't a big thing down in the Carolinas. But I've NEVER heard of eating it dipped in jelly, sauce, etc. You eat it with breakfast (like sausage, bacon), and it's great with eggs and cheese. One of my favorite foods, along with hotdogs of course (but not at the same time lol)
