@@rukus9585 Terry Fator was amazing. You have to give him props man. The two can't be compared, so different. I do love Cas though and he is making a shed load of money doing what he loves to do, so no losers! ;)
@@audreyclark6956 but was I wrong? Is he a ventriloquist? I didn't regularly watch the show, my then girl did, but I saw a handful of episodes, and all of Cas's.
I know cas personally. I have gotten to play with him a couple of times, and were from the same home town - Paris, Tx. Its a shame to see the negative comments. Cas is extremely original, and he's a fantastic musician. He could play circles around most musicians I have met on pure raw talent. Check out wood belly.
james if you are being truthful about knowing cas man that is incredible..i have been around music all my life from meeting people like kiss and quiet riot to folks like george strait...i think cas has awsome talent and i love his voice so raw and pure..i'm glad to hear that he has been successful ...it takes alot of talent and time to tour especially international...it's a shame he had to go up against terry fator or as i call him ferry tater...terry is a amazing talent as well...anyways good to hear you don't always have to win to be successful..
Okay first of all he's singing my absolute favorite Police song and he friggn' nailed it. I am constantly listening to this version now. Love this guy! And let me tell you...nobody better screw up a Police or Sting song around me. This kid rocks!
How do talented guys like Cas not make it when he sounds as good as that without studio equipment enhancing his voice to the point it does not even sound like him, AMAZING performace

Brings back memories. I remember that day, that performance alone carried him all the way to the finals. He just wasn't able to top that with his later performances, we all kept voting him in hopes of hearing another great song lol.
+Sam Vega The difference is that Terry Fator wasn't just doing impersonations. He was singing and doing it very well at that. Being able to sing like that is difficult enough in its own right, but to be able to do it while performing ventriloquism is absolutely astonishing. To top that off, he wasn't just doing male impersonations either, there were some female voices that he was impersonating as well. Cas Haley is a fantastic musician, but he can't really be compared with Terry Fator simply because he's going up against someone who is more than just a singer. Multi-talented is really the best way to describe it.
Not really jeff dunham has been doing that for years so the fact someone van sing and do it doesnt surprise me at all. But it doesnt matter cas got more famous then him anyways and is doing music
And you can compare the 2 because cas is a brilliant reggae singer with a unique voice you cant buy that. Thats gold which is why hes made like 3 albums and i think a couple went gold not positive but yeah

Don't get me wrong, as I said before Cas Haley is an amazing musician and yes its true that he has a very unique voice, but Terry Fator has more than just 1 unique voice. He's not impersonating the singer's normal voices, he's impersonating their singing voices. Much more difficult to pull off. Its hard enough to get someone's normal voice spot on in an impersonation, but to nail the singing voice just amazes me. Honestly, in my opinion Terry Fator is the more talented performer. I actually find him to be better than Jeff Dunham.

@@KingOfPopStars We know their are encouraging the singer but when you get too loud it gets annoying, then one wanker in the crowd goes 'woo' then the whole room goes WOO! It gets annoying and maybe, just maybe, saving all that love and support for the END, will be much better.

I have a really weird taste of music, and I'm only 12 I love this song. When I looked at the other version of this song I was very disappointed. this guy is amazing. This song gives me the shivers every single time. it takes me to a different place
