Yelling "Stop the Count" while votes are still being tallied makes about as much sense as yelling "Stop the Count" 3-seconds from midnight on New Year's Eve.
As a canadian with pure best wishes for our American cousins, we're going to keep our border with you closed for the foreseeable future... 1 million cases in a week is astronomically dangerous...
Most of Americans only look at the death counts, and think it's acceptable because the death rate is low. But they don't factor in the long term health problems related to a Corona infection. Good thing their healthcare system is soo good, right ?
2 years ago when my Mom’s dementia was just coming on she fell and when the paramedics asked her who the President was she answered, “ I don’t remember his name but I don’t like him.” Good enough, Ma.
It blows my mind William. He completely checked out and walked off the job. Trump may not be responsible for the virus itself but he became responsible for it as soon as it popped up inside these borders! He failed the people that he sworn to protect. FAILED! He needs to be held accountable.
All I’m saying is that the US could use a vote of no confidence. Isn’t perfect but if the party in charge loses they get kicked out and we have another election. US could use something like that
@@Nevertoleave I don’t think we need another election...we just need to get this one certified and file cross complaints for wasting the courts time with all these BS, no proof, allegations.
The downside is having to refer to him as 'the president'. Well, it's only for a little while. Q: How many asterisks does it take to get four asterisks in a RU-vid comment? ******
This is why when people say he's your President I tell them, no he isn't.. He said it all the time he's not and only for those who support him.. Here's your proof..
That and he cleared his schedule lol. Kind of hard to call him president when he's not doing the work that a president is expected to do... I'm a plumber but all I do is golf. So am I really a plumber? lol But whatever. Good point though. Meanwhile biden says he'll be a president for everyone. Even the dumb ass trimpers lol.
He is still your president (currently) whether he has your best interests in mind or not. The same way Biden will be my president, come next year. Just because you don't like the current president doesn't make them not your president.
@@Surge1077 I'm a republican, right here, above you saying Joe will be my president >_< yes, my head has surely exploded. I don't carry double standards, maybe you should do the same.
The sheer number is stsggering. This is no Jim Jones koolaid fiasco, over a hundred million fanatics follow this devil dotard. A million Americans will die unnecessarily from a virus that could be contained by common sense. You cant blame this crackpot alone, the other crazy crackhead governors, parents and fools who follow him are just as liable.
I guess Giuliani is next... I'd be honored if some fellow concerned citizens would take a quick listen to my acoustic piano & vocal YT performance of DANCING IN THE DARK by Bruce Springsteen in tribute to the United States of America and our next President, Joseph R. Biden. Peace and everybody stay safe.
He knew in the beginning that it was a deadly plague. He perpetrated a holocaust so that he would have a better chance of getting reelected. We could have prevented all of it with early measures in February -- and Trump knew it. The guy is a monster.
@@StygianStyle and people still give him credibility after he acknowledged all of that on the Woodward tapes. He’s an absolute monster. He has the blood of over 240,000 people on his hands.
If T**** does hole himself up in the Oval Office and needs to be "escorted" out, I hope the D.C. Police aren't too concerned with his human rights. After all, wasn't it T****, himself, that told them they didn't have to be that "nice" about the arrest?
@@emilysmith2965 you're right! I don't mean to make light of that sad fact. I'm just using t****'s own words against him. I want to see him face trial, too. The TV on that will be amazing!
i'm not sure what's funny about twitter's position; it's factually correct. the president of the united states has no role in the administration of elections. his election pronouncements are exactly as official as the homeless guy in the street.

Stephen, I always have loved your program but I can agree with what is being said of the Corona virus. I am definitely anti Trump, but in relation to the virus he seems to be ok, and so seem to be the people around apart from the low iq. I can't agree with Fauci. Could you and other outlets send journalists to do real investigative work, please? Because we are going to starve next year, plus it bothers me that I agree in some issues (Corona) with trumpsters
Why doesn't Colbert just move on to another subject already? Mock Catholics for instance. Plenty of material on that subject. Being a dysfunctional Catholic myself. As I said lot's of material.
@@sadiestoltzfus9798 Sadie, I had a couple drinks last night obviously by my rightly misunderstood comment which was supposed to be a laugh because I also happen to be one of those dysfunctional Catholics so it hit home and yes...a ton of material. Stay safe and well hun.
@@deby7821 I know, plenty of material. Watch a comedian I believe his name is Dave Allen. Late seventies perhaps. Anyhow Catholic jokes funny as hell. Check him out sometime.
It’s been reported that he really doesn’t. When his people hold meetings for important things, he’s been reported to go completely off topic and make statements that have nothing to do with what’s being discussed. There’s been a few newspaper articles about such observations, one of which I think is from The New York Times. And I completely agree with you. And here’s hoping that 2021 is much better that 2020.
If Democrats take both seats, US Senate will be perfectly balanced, 48 Democrats + 2 Independences and 50 Republicans. Go Georgia. Bring balance to the Senate.

He never will. This www.loser.com will be crying about this election till the day he dies. He truly is one of the worst people ever. Everyday he keeps Biden’s transition team from the Covid information, you know-the one he never goes and sees, is another day that they have to work on it. Where is the outrage??? When someone does in those transition days that Trump has freaking stolen, he should be held accountable.
He has learned. He knows he lost. He is just running a fundraising scam and getting his followers riled up for whatever he does after. Probably a far right wing TV network.
"We may have policy differences...?" There are lot more differences between Trump and cronies and Biden and his advisors, like honor, decency, integrity, intelligence, and respect for our Constitution and Presidential norms and traditions.
Some of them do, but the ones in charge know full well that they’re full of shit, they’re just inflating the numbers to make themselves look bigger and more important then they really are in a transparent attempt to sucker in the gullible and get more attention then they would if they were honest about their numbers.
@chris younts I don't believe anyone understand's the philosophy of Jesus. If so why do we hold a grudge? Mock people? Treat each other worse than the animal kingdom? Why are people still bitching about DJT? Why are we splitting each other by race? Why are we always at war? Why do we steal cheat and lie? Disobey all the Ten Commandment's? Disrespect all authority? Show no compassion toward each other? If you read these comment's judgement is all you read. So do you think any of this pertain's any teaching's of Christ? I don't.
@@sadiestoltzfus9798 The key to religion is that you can believe whatever you _want_ to be true. You take Christianity one way, because you're a good person. Other Christians prefer their own way. But the fundamental problem with _all_ of this is faith-based thinking. Trump's supporters are nothing if not faith-based. That means they believe whatever they _want_ to be true, regardless of the evidence. And when it comes to their religion, liberal Christians do the same thing. So isn't it time that we became evidence-based? Isn't it time that we required good reasons - good evidence - _before_ believing stuff, rather than just going with whatever we were taught to believe as children and whatever we really, really _wish_ were true? I'm fine working with liberal believers on issues where we agree, but in this respect, you guys are still part of the problem, not part of the solution. Faith is a vice, not a virtue.
@@Bill_Garthright For example you are taking faith in science correct? You put faith in your doctor's advice and treatment correct? If you choose not to put faith in a higher power that's your choice. Religious zealot's are few and far between. My sister is an off the wall crazy overboard Catholic. It's pathetic. Anyhow getting back to my point. Religion is a vice not faith. Faith and religion different. Wars in the middle east all due to religion. Religion or a certain way to worship is evil. The devil divides us with religion. I believe in God not Catholic, Baptist, Muslim on and on religion.

Trump is the biggest snowflake ever. He's obsessed with how special he thinks he is, and he's incredible fragile-the quintessence of the "can dish it out, but can't take it" mindset.

@@HobertMallow That's worse because Trump has had months to prepare for the US winter. I was talking to another swedish person in the chat she doesn't take public transportation because not everyone wears masks she walks 45 minutes to work she's in the medical field
Maybe one in ten wears a mask here in Gothenburg, which is fun when you are on a packed tram at rushhour 🤦♂️ I have to admit that I only started wearing one two weeks ago. Edit: and I can't wear one at work, since my customers would freak out and call my boss, even tho I would wear it as a precaution.
I wish Trump would stop locking out the real President from the job of doing the Coronavirus while he is golfing. Glad Trump is golfing. But stepping in front of Biden is rediculous.
Isn’t he also the only president who’s had almost a quarter of a million citizens die ‘on his watch’? Why does no one from his party step in to DO anything constructive, about the virus and transition? If Trump won’t do what he’s meant to do, he should be removed, NOW, for the health and security of America. What is wrong with you folks?!
The GOP will block Biden at every turn. Half the nation wanted a bigoted, low IQ narcissist, who lies on a pathological level...this does not bode well for the future
@BULLET BILL -- But there's a limit to what executive orders can accomplish. The president can't designate funds for the things he orders, only Congress can do that. And if a president does too many high-profile executive orders, people attack him for executive overreach. We desperately need both Warnock and Ossof in the Senate.

I doubt he's going anywhere. He's several hundreds of millions of dollars in debt to foreign and "unknown" creditors and he's had four years of access to sensitive government information. He's a massive national security risk and I doubt the secret service will even let him go to the bathroom alone for the rest of his life. @WeaselJCD Agreed. He's also far more balanced when he roasts people with his jokes. He doesn't play favorites even with his favorites. Contrary to what some might claim of him. I like that about him. He's also fair in regards to being honest about people he doesn't like. He doesn't just lash out like some comedians. He'll even defend people he doesn't like provided it's factual, & justified. He's good people as the saying goes.
Apparently Colbert said in a monologue last week that he won't show or say Trump's name until Trump admits that Biden is the next president. You'll notice he's not doing his Trump impression, either.
