I'm sooo surprised Dominique was sent home. I thought Tyra liked her, especially after winning Modelville (which she doesn't talk about a lot on the show).
all of you say Angelea doesn't deserve it because you don't understand her or where she comes from or her mantality...she is fighting for something she wants bad...she may not be rdy for it but no one would want to hear those things from other people espeacial if they are your competitors. i also think she dislikes dominque because in her mind she see's her and must think she think's she's better than me...they are both black woman trying to break into a tough business Angelea must see dominques
i didn't watch this episode because i was busy with other stuff, but ugh it sounds like it was interesting! the one episode i miss....and WTF why did dominique get sent home??? i was starting to think that she had great potential!
they keep scaring as about Allison going home in the previews, like with the interview where mario lopez was like "why r u even here" and in the music video where shes like "i cant sing :(" and then this episode where nigel was like "it doesnt feel discus" . Shes gonna win....what are your thoughts? :D
I think Dominique was doing well in this cycle! I was impressed by her express shot, music video and last week's salad photo. She definitely did a better job than Angelea.
confidence and it irks her because she knows she can do just as good and has to believe she can do better...and how can anyone love someone in top model? i mean really they don't really each other that well and it's a competition..i agree with dom that's Angie is not rdy yet but i'm not mad at angie getting upset because she is the underdog and i'm gunna cheer her on hope she gains rock hard confidence in herself and can learn to listen more and be able to see it from an objective view
Great to see Caro again.. yeah... her smile is so cute... and so is Pat's... i thought the btm two should be Angelea and Dominique cause they got the most films in this ep... but yes, it was shocked that Dominique was eliminated ( even she is not my favorite but we all agree that she could take much much better pics than Angelea and really improved a lot than last cycle)... tricky. PS... If Caro pulled her eyes up then it should be the asian way but not pulled them down lol... I am asian.. lol
Anywho, now back to comments on the recap, I pretty much agree with everything you said. I thought Angelea was going home too. I'm sorry but Angelea, I don't care if she starts drama and is memorable, but she doesn't know how to take a critique at all. Even when all of them were clearly just trying to help her, she got defensive. BUT to be honest here, I also see myself in Angelea. I used to be exactly like Angelea when it comes to those situations, so I know it felt, it's not pleasant.
Pat, I thought Id let you know that I saw Joslyn and Clark from Cycle 11 on separate episodes of Millionaire Matchmaker (Clark on Season 5 and Joslyn Season 3). They were both eligible women to date millinoaires Clark is a runway model from Milan now but Ive never liked her And Joslyn was not a model but she looked good in the MM Just thought it might be interesting to know
@Hazlanz1 I agree. They are completely downplaying Allison, ever since the beginning. Notice how she got very little screen time until like the music video episode? And since they're saving Angelea time and time again, I'm guessing she might be runner-up and giving her so much screen time to make people think she might be the winner. But in reality, Allison will win.
A few things have come into my mind Maybe Angelea was saved over Dominique because before that, most people thought allison would win and that was self-evident by the call-outs and the fan poll so maybe tyra eliminated dominique so that people may not be so clear cut on allison winning. The rumor Angelea wins may be a marketing ploy by ANTM to hire people to post the 'results' to make viewers further think allison wont win. I wouldnt be surprised if this is the case. It is a TV Show first.
Or what about this. Remember Cycle 16, with Brittanis meltdown Tyra said the judges vote person to person so maybe Andre voted Angelea because he loves her Miss J could have voted angelea because he seemed sympathetic with angelea when he stormed off the set and I think he really likes her too Or maybe tyra voted Angelea as well for the reason I mentioned below Im just throwing theories around
@saeefa I think you need to re-watch the episode,I could be wrong but I think she was saying back stabbing due to the fact they didn't confront her with it ex. in the house no one has a problem but now they seem too. She seemed totally shocked to learn how they felt. But she shouldn't have been because for the most part people are back-stabbers. As far as your remaining statements...you are entitled to them. But I must say you seem to be throwing PEOPLE in a BOX which WE all know you can't.
alot of people hav bin saying that spoilers confirm that angalea won but spoilers also said that kayla won then alex won but both of then hav bin eliminated and as for angalea she isnt setting much of a good example, i think allison will win, i dont see why she wont
I am with u Pat I though Angelea is finally gone. Dominique was consistently doing great. Back on her cycle I didn't like her much but this cycle I was rooting for her. But let's not forget that is is what Tyra wants.
As for Dominique getting eliminated, that I didn't agree with. When it came to Tyra's reasoning. Angelea is memorable only because she keeps the drama of the show. If that is what kept her in the show, then that's BS. lol Don't get me wrong, I love Angelea, I think she's inspiring in some way (as with all of the girls), but I really felt this was her time to go.
It's crazy how Dominique goes from having best photo one week, then is kicked the next. It's obvious that Angelea should've gone home. Lisa or Angelea will be going home next week. I've been HOPING that Lisa would finally go home. No one takes her seriously. I think it will come down to Allison and Laura, and that Allison will win.
I was so mad that they kept Angelea. Like...in what world was her behaviour okay? And she didn't even have a good picture! If Alison doesn't win the season...oh man, I will be pissed. And if Lisa or Angelea DOES win...I don't even want to think about that.
the only reason Angelia was safe is becoz Andre love her pic! I can tell that Tyra and Nigel didn't like Angelia's picture, but Tyra can't send Angelia home when Andre insist that Angelia's pic is high fashion!!!! u know that Tyra still need to respect Andre's opinion!!!
i liked this episode... i like angelea.... she is a lot but she is definitely someone who is worthy and who needs the win... which in antm history the girl who needs it to get in the door usually gets it. I was shocked to see dominique go home but i forgot a lot of the cuts this season were pretty shocking... i think laura is the next one out.. it sucked but was still funny when dominique was like last nigel shot me... i went home lol
why is tyra giving so many chances for angelea???!! dominque was doing so well in the past weeks and she didn't do well this week and got sent home whereas angelea is weak, breaks under pressure and has been in the bottom 4 times and still stays.
@saeefa Well I guess I will watch some deleted parts tonight,sure they edited the heck out of it as usual so it should be interesting. I just watched a few of the old episodes. I really don't see what you see. Like I said in my original statement, We are just more divided then I ever thought. I can however agree to disagree....respectfully. As far as gaining a tough skin and confidence....I wonder how many could walk a block in her life? Most that have....don't even bother to dream anymore!
@ShamPoo1543 yes i know that, i dont know any of these girls in person but they are gonna be judged by the viewers on how they are potrayed on the show. Everyone gets judged on tv, from films to music, to reality show and most people obviously dont know them but thats how it works and yes i do have a life outside antm, thank u very much XP
Did you guys notice how much Andre & Nigel disagree in this episode?? Did you guys notice how much favor Andre gives to Angelea?? It was an awkwardly stiff photo?? and ANdre still loves it??? Even how Nigel said that he had to get Angelea through the poses to have that shot?? I dunno . . . I THOT DOMINIQUE should be in the Top 2. She just started to rise . . . it was not reason not to be memorable . .compared to being memorable in all bad ways. . .right??

Dominique had won Modelville, so I knew Tyra would not let her win the All stars cycle. In fact I was Kinda surprised when Bianca and Dominique were both cast for cycle 17(since ther were on Modelville as well). I'm sick of Angelea, she does not take good pictures. Other than her covergirl pic from cycle 14, I don't think she's taken a single great pic.I agree that she's being kept for the drama, more than anything else. Lisa is really intelligent, you can tell she's figured out top model.
I root for Angelea because I understand her struggle, but I do not think that she deserved to stay this week. My jaw hit the floor when they called her name. I really think that the show is somewhat rigged, From what I saw during Dominique's shoot, it really looked like she had better shots than what her final shot was at panel. Angelea's film had to have been weaker by comparison and that was not even mentioned. I want Lisa to win but I think Allison's got it in the bag if her walk improves.
@ saeefa I believe one looking at the Model and not living vicariously through them will obviously get a different perception of the Models...on that note HAGD and get a Life for yourself outside of ANTM!
Dominique did not deserve to go home, she was in the bottom 1 time and went home while Angelea was in the bottom 4 times and is still here and her photos werent even as good as D's ...I mean who cares if you are memorable if you suck as a model Top Model isnt even about modeling now.
@ShamPoo1543 they didnt need to, all of those girls have ther opinions and i think u need to watch it over from episode 1, angalea has backstabbed and slagged off these girls throughout the series and they were being honest, she needs to develop a tough skin and gain some confidence, the judges tell them all the time in the real modelling world they are gonna be harsher, so this was nothing

Im torn in Dominique going home. In photos, Dominique was much better but she was forgettable and didnt have star factor. This cycle is focusing more on star power and personality on top of photos and Angelea can deliver that. I like Angelea but four bottom two appearances is too much. I want Allison to win but now Im thinking Laura could win because she is personable and her accent can distinguish her as a star. I like Lisa but shes dying out. Her photo was ok For me #1 photo was Laura
i have a very bad feeling that angelea is gonna win this and its not that i dont like her (i dont) but she is not a model or a star she is the only one of the remaining girl who hasnt done anything after top model the other were sign by an agency or they did music (lisa) but she hasnt but i hope im wrong and ALLICAT WINS I WANT ALLISON TO WIN SO BAD :)
Angelea should have gone home for so many reasons. I disliked her in her cycle at the beginning, then she grew on me. In this cycle, I liked her a bit at the beginning, but the dislike is back. Ugh. I don't want her to win.
If Angelea wins I will not watch top model anymore. Tonighs elimination was bullshit. I can't even call this a modeling competition. Allison and Laura all the way.
How is Angelea the one in the wrong....Really? We as a nation are further away than I even thought. Lmfao...at laura saying Angelea does not know her talent....One of the funnies lines so far was from Angelea it went something like this "I GOT THE MOST TALENT UP IN THIS B*****. Like I said on another video when I think model all I see is Angelea and Allison and Allison can't walk to save her life but boy is she Unique,love her! I loved Angelea picture...umumm
@ShamPoo1543 angelea isnt model material she should change to a reality tv career coz she is only about drama and she can dish critiques but cant take it, that cow cant even take critism and they didnt backstab her they said it to her face, angalea is pretty 1 dimensional and that is hooch and she is arrogant she goes on about how better then she is and an allstar she is, a great and a REAL model wouldnt showof the aura of greatness
