I bet the two of you were happy to be home! That trip is quite a drive, towing a trailer, for someone who doesn't normally do it, but she got you home. She should feel a great sense of accomplishment and is now prepared should anything happen in the future. It is always good to have 2 drivers. I drive all over the county by myself and enjoy the solitude of it, but I am in an SUV so if I become ill or get injured it is much less stressful to get myself home. I am a 72 year old woman!
Sometimes life takes a U-turn and we have to start over again. Get well Robert and you will be back riding in your RV soon. Hope Illy get well very soon to.

Fry's is a subsidiary of Kroger. Nice like the Publix in FL. In some AZ places it is also called "Smiths". Basha's is now Raley's and Safeway is Albertsons. Just for your reference while in Arizona.
Sorry to see you and your wife got injured! I do want to thank you for the footage of your trip back to Florida! It was a rush down memory road for my wife and I the section of I40. We traveled that stretch a few years ago hitting Route 66 stops and it brought back some many memories of that area! I pray you both are healing up and are back at your travels!! Man that hike had so many loose rocks, very happy that at least you didn't need any surgery. Love the end of the video when Illy hit the pedal to the metal and crossed all those states like smokey and the bandit in a matter of minutes.

As I have said before Robert, one of the reasons I love your channel is because you do not leave out the issues that you experience during your journey's, like most travel vloggers do. Oh you ran into Incredible Tiny homes Randy Jones from Newport TN, they are only 1 hour west of me Im in NC. He makes great tiny homes, and you dont have to have a compost toilet. You can have what ever you want and even bigger than the Incredibox. Randy does great work, Im a fan!
ved your video, at 70 I screamed to myself, "Just do it philip. you've watched these type videos for years!" I had a construction crew in Hawaii, and while carrying a heavy beam the soil gave way on my right. My ankle heard, but the next morning I had to go down the stairs on my butt. This was in 1993 when I was 42. I was working the next day with that walking cast, but after 4 weeks of sratching my leg with coat hanger, we were sitting aroud the fire drinking and just cut it off. The next morning I wished I hadn't! And I was afraid to go back to the doctor. I know that you are an active 'young man' but I was 42 and had been a football player in college, and always worked construction, but I found out the older I get, it's better to listen to the Dr. "If you trust him/her". Really proud of Illy driving the rig. I had Marie drive the rig for a bit on our way home from Harper's Ferry. Foot fractures take a while to heal. Hang in there! PS. I think I will stay in a full hook up campground when I head out there. Lol.

Robert... love how you take us not only to Quartzite which hundreds do; but what they don't do, is take us into town and surrounding history! We'll eventually travel there. But since we're weekenders this is one we'll leave when we get a month off around this time of course etc..

I noticed the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, TX in the video on your trip home...if you ever get a chance to stop there, they have the best burgers ever! A classic Route 66 stop!
Incredible journey, so glad you are back safely, that old mighty Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge must have been quite a sight ! Was that the marshlands of Hancock county , Mississippi, so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes!
Hope your injuries heal quickly and well. I really enjoy your channel. It's relaxing with all the negative we see. I also love your song. The chorus kind of sticks with you. I pick up and deliver medical supplies so I drive all day and sometimes that song just pops into my head and there it is all day. I really liked hearing more of it. You're a very good singer and the production is very good. Stay well.
