I actually think that 3:51 was the high point of this song. I think it's because that's not the recorded melody and I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting the high harmony. It was pure amazingness. I want this guy's voice so freaking bad....I can only hope, pray and wish that one day they start playing together again.
I still remember watching this concert on TV the day after I had surgery. It was so awesome because Fall Out Boy was actually playing a show in my town that night.
Patrick just became more confident with his vocal abilities, I guess. And his talking voice probably just reached final maturity, because guys pretty much don't finish puberty until they're in their late 20's. Oh and not to mention that the weight loss made the singing on stage for him a lot easier because he also suffers from asthma, so you can imagine how hard it was for him to perform when he was heavier.
Tony Dupre I mean, he said himself that before he was really afraid of his voice and singing in general wasn't what he wanted to do so he'd impersonate other singers before. He says that now he's finally comfortable with his voice. And I mean, you could hear that on the records too. From TTYG to ABAP. His voice just became better and more distinctive. Probably because he stopped being afraid of it.
2018 anyone? man, im late lol but it must soooo tiring for him to sing those notes for every chorus but 10/10 man. i feel breathless for him. but pls brg this album back. perform it maybe? 10 yrs.
am i the only one that notices that alot of times when he says a word with the "c" he pronounces it with a "ch" sound fir example when he says "you could've" sounds like "you chould've
He started a diet by that time, it was a few months before the hiatus, if my memory didnt fail their last show was on the Latin MTV VMAs from 2009 and he was astonishingly thinner by that time, the media even showed some concern as he looked like he was havin eating dissorders...
@ILOV3FALLOUTBOY10 Well I've spent 3 years in recording school and I beg to differ. These are auto toned but its not a bad thing almost every single live performance now uses auto tune, Especially if its going to be televised. Also there are different degrees of auto tune. You can use it just too fix your pitch without it being noticeable. Not everyone using auto tune has to sound like lil wayne.
Tony Dupre It really doesn't seem live. I mean it doesn't necessarily seem doctored or edited but its a perfect take done at the end of the show and I can't hear any variations/mistakes/randomness/breath at all in this performance. I really doubt this is live vocals.
@InvisibleForToday thats how bassists pick some times. you do that with classical guitar too because you use your thumb to play the bass notes and you index and middel for the lead notes. but bass guitarists some times pick with their index and midle walking them up and down like legs running. weird i know. wondering how i know all this? I play guitar and bass. why did i take all that time to write a comment? I'm going to go see a menta dr now bye
I've always though patrick was attractive, nothing wrong with a little extra weight. a little chubby>tooSkinny, any day of the week(just my preference no offense to the skinny girls and guys.)
Leman Hanifayeva I swear this is the funniest comment I have ever seen 😂 I love it so much 😂😂 Like you’re at the movies with your friends and then all of the sudden you’re like “why am I even here” 😂😂👏🏻
