The best part of this movie (by far): the Christopher Walken cameo as the mysterious director who presented the movie that starred Gwen and Eddie, but with as much behind the scenes stuff possible with everything laid bare.

Julia roberts has done a lot of great movies over the years and there was so many of them and it's hard to count every single one off my head. the main two favorite movies I like by Julia Roberts are notting Hill and america's sweetheart, there is just something about these two I cannot get enough of. Have to get them on dvd.

A great and kind of cute movie about realising who you really love and that not every couple in movies have the same relationship in real life due to the acting part for example. It also had some good timed laughs in it. 😂♥️

Fun fact: All 4 lead actors in this movie have relatives who are actors. Here are the ones that I know of: Billy Crystal's daughter Jennifer is an actress, John Cusack's sister Joan is an actress, Julia Roberts' brother Eric and niece Emma are actors and Catherine Zeta Jones' husband Michael Douglas and father in law Kirk Douglas are actors.

I remember when this movie was in the theaters. I was 9 at the time. My dad took me to see the movie. I don't really remember when I saw it in the theaters, however I rediscovered it a few weeks ago and watched it again. It's a fantastic film. I found it to be very funny and entertaining. It's a reminder of a better time in our lives a.k.a pre 9/11.

Another laid back romcom of the 90s-2000s that I have watched more than once. As an Indian, I miss these kind of movies shown on Star movies , HBO, Romedy now etc. Nowadays every movie has too much hidden agenda or wokeism. Innocence is no more admired by movie makers.

I watched it the other night on Hulu. Highly recommend it. Great film. I think it's also on Amazon Prime but I watched it on Hulu because then I didn't have to pay for it. The movie is a nice reminder of a better time in our lives a.k.a. Pre-9/11 lol.

I have never ever understood what Billy Crystal's character meant by "60 Pounds! That's a Backstreet Boy!". It's very confusing. Is he saying that the Backstreet Boys are (or were, at the time of this movie) very thin? It's obnoxious because I don't understand it. Also, none of the members of BSB were ever that thin, other than probably as tweens.

Yes, it was a joke about how skinny the Backstreet Boys were. But it wasn’t picking on Backstreet Boys specifically so much as boy band members in general. Back then boy bands were a cultural phenomenon and there was a lot of masculine disdain towards them because many people considered them “sissy boys.” Keep in mind this movie is over 20 years old. Things were different back then. Machismo guys had long been a staple in mainstream entertainment. The pretty boy thing wasn’t a concept many guys respected yet. So the joke was funny because it was relevant to the times.
