That was Terri Vaughn who played the “shy girl” I remember taking a young lady to see this movie in the theater every body in the theater went crazy during that scene
@@goodreverend2k1 this 💯🔥🔥 your post made my day absolutely brilliant movie that most people don't even know exists when we were kids it was a cult classic and hard to find on VHS
@@RationalMinded if it's a proper copy not recorded off tv it's probably worth a bit of coin I've been told there's not many copies floating around and is highly collectible
The entire job interview scene, was funny...the part when he he was filling out the application and said “I don’t know” about his father was actually a bit sad especially the way Marlon delivered the line...
This movie was beyond its time It was meant to be funny n send a message as well. Why u think the mail man kept saying “message” when he delivered something ? Cuz it was also an important line said before that. Like n the beginning of the movie when Trey said. “It’s like we are still slaves in the mind” n then the mail man comes n say “MESSAGE!” I remember that scene exactly as a little boy it helped me a lot because my real father never stepped up n to hear it be joked about n a movie helped me cope with my situation. Like I’m not the only one so quit crying about it, move on. Even though it is a sad situation we can’t reverse it just get through it.
Mommy&Daughter Williamson no, she from the Steve Harvey show....the actress in this movie playing the shy girl is Terri J. Vaughn...the actress in Players Club is Monica Calhoun
It’s how Loc Dog managed to keep the caked up roll-on deodorant under his armpits. Reminds me of LL Cool J when he use to perform shirtless on stage in the 80’s 😂🤣😂
Damn Loc Dog was right with shooting through the door now that I'm older looking back at it. He didn't even knock just walked in the house. That's the hood he probably heard that door close and knew someone was coming in. That's why he said you better announce yourself. Damn funny looking back at stuff being older.
A substitute teacher showed us this movie when I was in 7th grade!! He thought it was the funniest thing he's ever seen. He asked all the kids "whos parents wouldnt be ok with me showing a rated R movie" and he let the one kid who raised his hand bounce out of there. Now a days, that teacher would be sued and fired. True story The attention to detail, i havnt seen this movie since i was like 14. I just noticed so many small things i never saw. This movie is insane! His facial hair is out of control!!
@@briana.g.7412 What? This is totally satire, but thats not to say its not based on reality. People real do be living in a way similar to this, iv seen it first hand. I grew up in the bay area in the 90's.
@@SouthernOregonOrgani but on a national scale, it's reality for the least amount of people. Geography really plays a part. It just gets the most exposure.
Ali floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. And always remember my brother, one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, knick knack, paddy whack, give a dog a bone, two thousand, zero, zero, party, oops! Out of time, my bacon smellin' fine.😃😃😃
People with their prohibitions, slavery, BLM. You killed the humor in people with your vulnerability. Here, black guys are the kings of comedy. Always have been, are and will be. They did not cry over the blacks, but laughed at themselves and the whole world laughed with them for 20 years. Amazing brothers and unrealistically funny films. Oscar for every film, role and screenplay. Thank you guys, regards from Russia.
