As an American I had no interest in soccer until I randomly started playing fifa 22 career mode but I really caught the bug during the World Cup watching the USMNT make the round of 16. Since then I’ve quickly fell in love with the beautiful game and I’m happy knowing the sports only getting more popular in the us.

About 10 years ago ESPN had a commercial called "Born Into It" with a split screen that had a City supporter on one side and a United supporter on the other. The concept was they are both saying the same things about their own clubs and the same thing about their rivals. As a sports fan I decided to give English football a chance and now it's my favorite sport to watch!

Was a similar story in league of legends esports when someone tried to tag the cloud 9 player perkz and used @perkz but that tag was taken by a mum who owned 2 guinea pigs who lived in england. I mention the pets beacuse one of them was named fudge a team mate of perkz on cloud 9 none of this was on purpose she had never heard of the game, yet is now signed to cloud9.
