one common theme i see with a lot of these shops that have grown in a short time span is the idea that "we purchased these machines because this is what our customers wanted." understanding that the customer is the driver of your business; they make the decisions for where you go next. and from there, its up to you if you want to go down that path or try to forma different path. impressive stuff at this shop for sure!
Out of all the shop tours ive seen, this one might be the coolest. I dont think I've ever seen a 5 axis horizontal pallet machine on youtube and I watch this kind of video all the time 😂😂 Not to mention the sheer quantity of machines in there! If this place took a holiday off, I bet the local power plant has to scale back production
Really enjoy watching these shop tour videos 👍 Very wise choice going with Doosan. The poor man's Mazak. Japanese quality at a HAAS price. I can't get over the amount of $$$$$$$$ tied up in this Machine Shop. 24 Machines plus Tooling and not forgetting amount rigging and setting up costs. I finally worked out the rapid growth of this business 🤔 On the wall in the Inspection room ?? SPACEX. It's definitely an advantage to know people.
Let’s just be honest here Haas are not up to job and you won’t get work in this sector if you only Run Haas and your customer base knows you only have Haas machines
It’s hard to compete with HAAS knowing that all shops around you have also Haases and it’s much easier when have another level machines and those shops can’t compete with you
