Beginning the journey to Rome via New York, and on one of the new A321s that have 3 classes of service. Filmed from the last row of Business--10F.
And it was a cloudy morning as the marine layer filled in during the night.

Wow. That’s a throwback safety video. The A321T is my favorite plane that American has. I pretty much only fly on it when I take American or in general.

This is an Airbus A321T (T=Transcontinental), which has a 3-class configuration. AA's Airbus A321S (mentioned), is both overwater (ETOPS) certified and has a 2-class configuration, unlike the A321T pictured.

Doesnt take long at all to fly up over the marine layer! Done it countless times out of LAX. Then the familiar turn back over land shortly thereafter.

That was a Legacy AA B737-800, with the 70's/80's TWA paint scheme. TWA did not have 737-800's.

Slow taxi speed? The speed limit on all taxiways is 25-30 MPH statute. American has longer taxi routes than Southwest, which makes it feel slower.

sometimes at an empty airport pilots taxi fast as fuck to makeup time or just get there quicker. One time in a hawaiian inter island 717 they straight up deployed thrust reverse during taxiing

It's the new sharklet winglets, which do look like the 737-800, however, the 737 family is getting outfitted with new-style winglets.

Semper Fi it’s a a321 dummy. You can tell the difference between the airbus and the 737 winglet, the lights are in different places. Google it.
