Have you had a chance to check out their lounge by chance? Glad to hear the FA's stopped licking the windows! I get it that some passengers like it darker for IFE purposes... But us Avgeeks love our window views! All the airlines got cheap on their first class product! I was shocked to only get a bottle of water and a packaged cookie on alot of my first class flights. Ughhh!!

Hello Chris….Will you have any new upcoming videos that won’t have voice over? Nothing against your current format, but I really miss the old ones at times. Maybe do a combination of them? I do watch the new ones but not as much as I did with the old format. I didn’t realize I liked them as much, they seem to have their own artistic appeal. Thanks for sharing with us and appreciate the time you put in to make the videos possible!

I used to fly extensively for business before I retired, but now, in my 70"s I am grounded due to Covid risk, so I enjoy flying vicariously through your videos.

we were on a AA 789 in july....the first seats up front....bulkhead...hard reaching stuff...esp window controls

Wow! I'm so envious of anyone who has flown on a Dreamliner! I wonder if it IS--or will be--nearly impossible to fly domestically on a wide body as international travel opens up more and more. I researched numerous flights across the U.S. from my home airport of Sea-Tac next spring with various airlines, and couldn't find one operated by a wide body! I guess I'll just continue to enjoy virtual flying on them! Thanks for posting this video! 🙂

Very good video. It is good to see you flying up front for a change. I watch a lot other AvGeek videos and most all of them fly a lot of Business or First class. I myself have only flown in First or Business class a few times. It was a fun experience to say the least. I look forward to watching your upcoming videos.

I dislike that they locked the window unlogically. I'd have no problem if they do it on a long-haul flight since most people would choose to sleep, but there's no reason to do so on a short day flight. Btw, their B787-9 looks brilliant.

That window lock nonsense is why I avoid 787s

Dear Chris: You are the luckiest Delinquent in the whole world! Great video and funny too; it is a shame that the air view shots did not come out clear and enjoyable like usually, they do; but who have guessed that our friendly flight attendants' dictatorial power was exercised to their max by lucking out the windows' shade control system. These people at American Airlines are out of their minds. The whole world knows what makes an American an American is his feverish passion for freedom. Because they have earned the old fashion way. They are in general the most law-abiding citizens in the world and to take away a simple but essential freedom of controlling your window shade is to literately repudiate our core essence of freedom; It is simply repugnant and unspeakable. Furthermore, their food offerings in first class are simply a joke! You might as well buy a ticket to fly in their laboratory at the back of the plane and you would have come ahead. Especially, if you consider that standing up near the gally gives you a great chance to strike a friendly conversation with a pretty FA. It is simply unreal how stingy these people are with their passengers. My suggestion from now on is to fly Emirates and or the Japanese airline. One thing for sure, they know extremely well how to make any flight regardless of length, an unforgettable experience. When are these people going to stop taking for granted the American's patronage & business! I also want to let you know your narration style is very relaxing and enjoyable. Perhaps, you should also consider, while working in your professional music aspirations to work in a radio station. Have them see your work and they will agree that you have a very friendly and enjoyable voice to listen to. Think about the possibilities and the positive impact that you would have on young people. Your voice is very influential and you could have an amazing & constructive impact on people's life. Plus the fact that working in a radio station would definitely help your musical aspirations. Nicely done! I’m a fan of the AA super diamond seats. They’re comfortable on longer flights.

So be glad that they offered you a damned seat while they reduced everything else to the limit. For 500$ you can expect at least a nice sandwhich and a salad. This standard is poor. Airlines take C19 to reduce their costs and they don't bring back the normal standard after it's gone. AA is among the worst. Singapore and Qatar keep their standard even in these weired times.
