Wow thats crazy. AA needs to do better.

Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed it. American will probably always be my main carrier. I’ve been flying them for over 20 years now and I’m a big AA fan boy lol. AAdvantage is still the best frequent flyer program in the US in my eyes which also keeps me loyaal to AA. I also really like what they have done with the airport lounges. I have taken a few trips on Delta recently and I was blown away by their friendly FA’s. Could have just been lucky though.

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked what you saw. Perhaps she was, if so her delivery needs some practice. We all have bad days and its still the only time this has happened to me on AA so I'm going to chalk this up as a one off experience.

Agreed, not sure what can be done though. It unfortunately seems to be a growing sentiment in the US.

Thanks. I can’t tell you how many times that lady and I had awkward eye contact moments 😂😂 Plus I’m recording and you know how that goes 😂. She was probably like what is this guy doing?? The one plus to that seat sitting backwards is how close it puts you to the window. Makes it really easy to record. A lot these business class seat usually put you a bit far from the window. Finally got this story line to London. Now it’s time to work on my British Airways Galleries Lounge Review/Tour.

Agreed but it’s hard for them to make money with how the average American buys their tickets. Not to mention they are publicly traded companies and have shareholders to deal with if their revenue isn’t up to par. I honestly also believe that having three huge carriers is too much I think we should probably only have two. I do think though over the last eight years the US BigThree have really stepped up their offerings. In my opinion they are on par or are really close with every other foreign airline that’s not government owned and operated.

Tbh, I’m more of a Delta fan since I live in Minneapolis but, if American is cheaper to fly out of here in first class (which they usually are from time to time) I’ll fly them more often😊

Delta is a really good airline. I cheat on AA a lot with Delta. Lol. I have a economy review with delta coming up soon. It was LAX-CDG with their new service on a 777-200ER.

No worries, I enjoy helping people out with this sort of thing. I believe row 5 is the last row in the cabin and it shouldn’t be connected to row 4. Seat 5H (the middle seat next to 5L) is rear facing but it shouldn’t be an issue with 5L. I’ve had a few people I’ve known tell me they have really enjoyed the seat you are asking about (5L) Hope this helps. Would love to hear what you think about it after you fly it. Happy Travels.

Last summer it was sold as the 12:24am Lax departure but pretty much the same thing. We cut it close because the LAX to ORD flight had a go around which cost us around 40 minutes. But I wanted to check out the ORD Flagship Lounge lol. It was worth it. Great views and food. Only had about 15 minutes inside the lounge though. I’m glad you liked the video. Can’t believe it’s almost been a year lol

In November I’m doing the same thing. A321 to ORD then a retrofitted 787 with the b&e aerospace diamond.

Nice. I was on a 737-800 to ORD and a 787-8 with the Zodiac seats. Hate those. Lol Love the Super Diamond seat you are scheduled to get. Favorite AA seat besides the reverse herringbone on the 77W #Jelly lol

Lol that’s right. It’s just soo awkward when you make eye contact with the person in the center seat. Had a lot of that on this flight lol. She was cool and we kept laughing when it happened lol

I just learned that the 787-8 I am going on is not getting the b&e aerospace retrofit.😰😢

It was pretty cool sitting backwards during takeoff and landing. The view was a bit better. Also, while eating meals I had a perfect view of the wing and engine. Take a triple 777 business than this older 787-800 or wait until they do the diamond seating.

The privacy issue is on the aisle’s that have backwards facing seats. Hope this helps.

No clue. It was cool to have sat in one but I’m not really a fan. I’m glad AA stoped using this seat for retrofits and for new wide body aircraft coming into the fleet.

I generally agree with that but Delta is really growing on me.

Completely agree on everything. The reverse herringbone they have on the 77W and the super Diamond they have on some 77E’s are my favorite AA business seats. That’s the hard part with US airlines. They have shareholders to please unlike the other high end airlines so they cannot go over the top. Then there is the Unions which total handcuffs the airlines. It’s just a hot mess in the states lol. I will say BA is similar in products to AA but there service is a lot better. It’s probably just cranky American FA’s who hate their job lol All in all it’s still much better than flying coach and is about the same for Delta & United. Thanks for watching and commenting

I was connecting from a red eye from Lax that left at 1am after working all day, then had a 25 minute connection on to LHR. Hence why I still slept good in a seat that I don’t prefer or view as comfortable. I also went over the details of the difference. As for the champagne it’s not that she wouldn’t give me more. She flat out lied and said they didn’t have any more when they did. Big difference. She clearly wasn’t willing to provide a service that I paid AA for and wanted to just hangout in the galley. Luckily the purser was willing to step up and take over. She was awesome. Thanks for watching the video though. Cheers.
