Thanks for this trip report! I'm planning on booking a flight from London to Miami on a B777-300ER American Airlines for the holidays!

Tasteful décor in the lounge at LHR. Very nice. But I wouldn't like that seat. For me, the best part of flying is looking out of the window, especially during take-offs and landings. All looks pleasant enough, though. Good video.

It all looked good to me! AA seems to have done their job well.

Decent aircraft B777-200ER. I flew to Miami on one from Dallas in 2019. Even though wasn't part of the flight plan which was supposed to be non stop from Las Vegas to Miami but last minute change was from Vegas to Miami change in Dallas. Initially wasn't happy about it but was worthwhile as I finally got the opportunity to fly on a B777

You arrived at LHR 3hrs before departure--my understanding is the Heathrow Express offers a First Class option,how does that differ from 'coach' class? Do you have to have a certain status as an AAdvantage member to enter the Cathay lounge? Having just had an omelette and smoked salmon there,odd you would have room for lunch enroute! Certainly had no shortage of beverages--OJ,Diet Coke with lemon,coffee,sparkling water with lemon--any problem with jet lag? If you left LHR at 935am,arriving in MIA at almost 3pm local time,your body clock would tell you its about 5pm back home,if my rough calculation is right,considering 8hrs flying time--guessing this was filmed before the pandemic virtually shut down the airline industry,nobody is wearing face masks yet!

Awesome video! Did they come back serving the food in different courses? Because of the pandemic, they were serving everything in one tray.

Hello friend, they let you fly without any restriction to the United States or did you see that you had to present a permit. I ask you because this Sunday I have a stop in NY with AA and I think I can not take the plane because of the issue with the US closure with Europe. thanks..

American Airlines service on Boeing 777 used to be very good to excellent during the time when Tom Horton used to be the CEO. When Doug Parker became the CEO , it is all down hill the worst airlines next to Spirit Airlines.
