Great video, and it's the last-remaining originally delivered American MD-80 and last-remaining MD-82 at American Airlines! You're very lucky you got to fly on it!
Awesome video! Yes, this is American's last MD-82! I've flown on that plane once and seen it many times. I was in the same row, but opposite side of the plane. Great video.
Well, American still has 28 MD-80s in service, all of which are in the old livery and will get retired in September, unfortunately. However, after these Super-80s are retired, they are leaving one 737-800 in the old livery as a special heritage livery, which is N921NN. Enjoy the Super-80s while you can!
