Oh how I adored him when I was a teenager...I was a teenager in the 1990's and my friends could not understand why I loved 60's music so much. The Lovin' Spoonful were always one of my all time favorites. When I was 15 I found John Sebastian's address. and we were pen pals for years. He sent me autographed pictures and postcards. He is such a nice man and so talented. So nice to see videos like this for those of us that were born too late.
I do agree. As a 16 year old girl, I have been a huge Classic Rock and Oldies fan for all my life because of my dad. The Lovin Spoonful isn’t one of my favorite music groups, but definitely do enjoy listening to their songs every now and then and John seems like the kind of person I would love to meet one day. So relaxed and kind.
The Loving Spoonful were great and the jug band music that inspired them Yet another band from that time that you have to sit your grandchildren down to listen to.
