We had the best day ever at the Bali Zoo! Breakfast with Orangutans was so much fun. The animals were so close and we got to interact with them more than ever before.
Our favorite was the orangutans. They were so funny and full of life. The new baby was adorable as it sat in its mama's lap eating leaves and fruit and then snuggling with his mom. We couldn't get enough of his big eyes, mouth, and scruffy hair. The other big mama was hilarious. She was playing with Dad's hair and even started bonking him on the head. He was in seventh heaven being so close to his favorite animal. Jake wanted a similar experience and kept standing close. Out of nowhere, the orangutan smacked him right in the face! It was hilarious! Something Jake will never forget.
The gibbon with her baby was also so adorable. They were so fun and playful together. Ben loved holding his favorite animal, a pangolin. An animal that many people have not even heard of. We all enjoyed the elephants, especially the little baby with his spiky, fuzzy hair on top. Grace and JoeJoe enjoyed feeding the cockatoos sunflower seeds and following them around.
The porcupine, bunnies, ponies, and other animals were also fun to see. Not to mention the delicious breakfast we got to enjoy in between all of the interactions with the animals. We really couldn't believe how much we were able to be with each of the animals. They were beautiful and amazing!
