Man, i loved this show when I was younger. I remember watching the series up until a little bit after Rose made the sacrifice. I never knew how the series ended and over the years, it kind of was lost in my memories. Im so glad I stumbled upon this video and found out how it ended. Thank you for the upload

That design change between seasons killed the show for me. I dont think Im alone in that sentiment.

It's a shame that the writers or whoever was in charge didn't make more out of it. If you think about it, the idea has so much to offer. The show could easily be on Avatar the last Airbender level, but it never quite got to it's true glory.

I remember for some reason the 90s/y2k had a bunch of Chinese and Japanese influence like Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, The Adventures of Jacki Chan, Xiaolin Showdown, Xiaolin Chronicles, YingYangYo, Samurai Jack, Street Fighter, Chaotic, Legend of the Dragon, etc. not including like actual anime/anime-like shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Avatar the Last Airbender, Ben10, Totally Spies, Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Naruto, Lunatics, Swat Kats, Secret Saturday, Pokémon, Tokyo MewMew, Dinosaur King, Bakugan, One Piece, Teen Titans, Fairytail, Shonen Jump, Bleach, Hamtaro, Kappa Mickey, Shugo Chara! Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Cardcaptor Sakura, Wedding Peach, Phantom Thief Jeanne, Magic Knight Rayearth, Death Note, Vampire Knight, Knights of the Zodiac, and this is all I can remember from the top of my head, but the thing I remember the most is WHY DID THEY EVER CHANGE THE ANIMATION FOR THIS SHOW!?! To this day it irritates me, not only that they even changed the structure and design for some of the characters. Like when Jake would transform, he was already semi buff as a dragon, then in the second season when he transformed, he was thinner than his human form. Didn’t make sense, but other than that this show was amazing.

I prefer Jake’s dragon form before the design was changed.

American dragon should have a spin off that focuses on Haley

I wished more of my past favourites Disney Series like Wuzzles, The Adventures of the Gummi Bear, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks, House of Mouse, Kim Possible, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and American Dragon Jake Long are finally released onto complete DVD at last just like original The Proud Family Series or even Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers on Blu-Ray.

This was the sister show to the life and times of juniper Lee and i loved both of them.

I just realized that the series follow the same formula as Danny Phantom. The supporting characters are gender swapped. There’s a romantic interest who is secretly the enemy. The school principal who has an affinity for magical creature (more like Crocker from FOP). and parent is oblivious to their sons secret hero life.

Season 1: Better designs, but worse writing Season 2: Worse deisgns, but better writing Season 3: Cancelled Edit: Correction - Jake doesn't wipe the memories of Spud and Trixie.

what is up with the way you pronounce initially because its really weird. You do not sound like you have an accent so I am wondering if the audio you use is just really convincing AI. You have like a few words that just sound off here and there and off in ways that do not make much sense.
