Even an oil change for a tractor is outrageous. Parts are insane. Years ago, you never gave it another look but now for just two of my farm rigs cost me 300.00 just in some maintenance
@@alleng012985 in the late 80s and early 90s the percentage of crop farm workers that were not here legally was around 14%. Now tell me genius, how was food prices then compared to now when it is around 40%? If they are here illegally, they should go
@@alleng012985 if you read my last reply you should have figured out that currently around 60% of the people are not working there illegally and it was over 85% back in the early 90s. So your answer is more of those people and more automation. 👀
@@alleng012985 You're not very smart. The reason they are "their workers" is because they can pay them so little. If you make them citizens, now they will have to pay minimum wage and taxes.
Large factory farming should be illegal'. Family farms are so important. They treat the land and their animals better. They arenmore flexible and listen to consumers whereas huge farming decide what we can get.
I live in a farming community. The biggest threat to farmers besides bad weather is one of the things that can hurt American farmers another is commercial farms that big businesses own. The family farms cannot compete with big corporations. The 3 problem is the government regulations are also affecting family farms. I not only live in a farming community plush the Amish farms. Government regulations have put many out of business.
Native Americans for trump,,she cannot control food prices, Nixon tried in 1971. Lasted 3 months, a complete disaster. Huge food shortages and food lines
A few years ago people estimated the U.S. was worth $78T with a $23T debt. What do you do, inflate prices, the U.S. is worth more trillions, you can add more debt.
@@donna4865 I don’t but there are companies that will pay per acre for solar harvesting. It could reduce how many acres they have to farm and then they would have to employ less people. There’s also a government program that pays farmers not to farm. If the government is easily persuaded to help big companies then they should have no problem helping the people that are feeding us.
Farming is an exceptionally expensive business venture and a long term investment. Average 10 to 15 years to break even after financing for an average sized commercial farm.
Pass the expenses on to the customer, and just explain why it's so expensive. One farmer's opinion doesn't matter, but get the farmers and the customers opinion then maybe something will be done.
Most everything is an international conglomeration that hurts the small farms around the world. Stockholders are greedy for their profits and capital gains. Global market is both good and bad. 🌎🌍🌏
Especially other countries that provide minimal ROI. At least Ukraine has been a valuable ally of our’s since their independence 30+ years ago but the Israeli government is literally just a leech.
The government is the one "price gouging!" ----------------------- Who is accusing others of doing it? The government. Who is doing it? The government!
How? By spending all the money - driving up the cost of everything. Kamala's plan moving forward - spend us into lower prices!!! - that was already said by dumb corrupt foul Democrats a few years ago
I studied economics for 6 years. Inflation is 100% caused by Congressional overspending and in our case mostly on War in the middle east. Inflation is a way that congress can increase taxes on the American people without having to say they are increasing our taxes. The sad part is. There is no tax deduction for Inflation.. and the way congress keeps spending. Inflation over the next for years will be up another 100% from where it was 4 years ago.
BS. ALL nations have experienced inflation.... the difference with the USA is that the Biden administration contained it from running away like in other countries.
migrants are also people, everybody has to eat, you cant touch the wages. you can still lower the equipment and material/energy cost. lower interest rates. also, consumers cant spend because the economy is crashing. what about those legal fees ? what are those ?
