Twiglets can be a grower, but I am a fully signed up member of the twiglet lovers club. What’s refreshing here is that you have kids that are prepared to at least try the foods. Most kids over here just turn their nose up at stuff before even giving it a go. And I’m sure you know already but pulses are like beans, peas and lentils.

Does anyone remember back in primary school you would cut window shapes out of black cardboard and stick those wrappers on the shapes making church windows. Many years ago.

I love the way your daughter sits on the end in your vlogs and quietly eats all the snacks whilst you are talking to the camera! As an expat Brit now living in Turkey I miss all the UK stuff that Stuart and Stacey send you to try as I can get very little of it out here particularly the limited edition stuff.

Marmite in a thoroughly buttered sandwich with sliced cucumbers in it is delicious. They were always in my lunchbox when I was at school.

M&S ,Marks and Spencer's is a high end department store,Their food halls is quite expensive but also quite luxurious.A food store frequented by wealthy people.More of an occasional treat for the less wealthy.All of their food is fabulous and high quality.Beautiful food but incredibly expensive.You often see older retired folk hanging around in there,marvelling at the glorious food offerings.If I was rich,I would buy all of my groceries in there,even the TV adverts,marketing for M&S food is pretty classy,check out their adverts for food, I love your videos,you are a lovely family.

There was a Christmas episode of "Mr Bean" (played by Rowan Atkinson) back in 1992, where he gets his head stuck in a Turkey (6 years before Joey from Friends did it) - and because he had run out of Twiglets, he decides to make some himself by opening the window and dragging some branches in from the tree outside, cutting some twigs off and dipping them in Marmite.

I watched a food show on PBS America which airs here in the UK. They said that most cinnamon products in North America are not actually made from real cinnamon but a substitute flavouring which, if I remember right, has more of a sweet taste than real cinnamon which is used in most other parts of the world.

Twiglets ,Marmite and vegemite. You either love them or hate them. They taste like the charred piece of beef. Pulses are the same family as peas. Love you all.

I have been loving watching your UK taste test videos lately, watched quite a few of them now, i know this is quite an old video now but i love twiglets never use to but they grew on me the more i tried them, now i could quite easily eat a whole large bag lol, they are quite popular here and come in tubs at Christmas as a party snack. never had the brussel sprout crisps they sound gross lol, all Quality street chocolates was originally made by British company Rowntrees Mackintosh including the original Kitkats, Rolos, Smarties, Toffee crisp etc until around 1988 when Nestle bought the company.

Pulses are things like lentils. Bombay mix is very common in the uk as we have a large Asian population. Twiglets are covered in marmite.

I love Walkers crisps but I haven’t seen those Brussels sprouts variety on sale around these parts (NW 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿). I will definitely have to track them down. I’m intrigued! There are so many new crisp flavours now.

Twiglets are Flavoured with a yeast extract product , which is made in part with yeast which is a by-product of the beer brewing process. Otherwise known in the UK as Marmite.

Quality Street are Christmas “sweets” or candy as you call it. We get a tin of them that is about a kilogram and hand them round the family. The best are the sweet creams like strawberry but the “Purple one” is the best by a mile.

The Brussels sprout crisp was just a seasonal flavour, over the Christmas period. Maybe they'll be back this December?!?! (I have some in the cupboard, for emergencies!!)

We tried twiglets a couple of years ago and thought they were OK. I wish Lays would come out with more inventive flavors for their chips. My daughter would love Brussels sprout flavored crisps.

Theres a saying in the UK (originated from the commercial for marmite) it goes, marmite! You either love it, or hate it. And this is basically the same for twiggets. My kids love them, i think they're gross. Your right when you say they taste burnt

Good video ,nice family and the stuff you try out is common on our shelves in our shops we are lucky to have such good candy and snacks and good american cousins to try them out as after brexit we will be trading with the usa even more than we do now and thats jobs for familys in the uk and the usa..

I love Twiglets! But if you are not used to Marmite, you must train yourself with a small amount of Marmite on very hot, buttered (real butter not margarine) toast. Gradually add more and more Marmite. Before you know it you will love the flavour!

I really like marmite with freshly baked white bread and lots of butter or I used to until I found out I'm intolerant to cows milk, wheat and yeast so unfortunately can't eat any of those foods now :(

If you haven't tossed the marmite, try it on toast with scrambled eggs, but just a smear. If you keep at it you will learn to love marmite. Twiglets are great same as Bombay mix. Great video.

@@BigJonTV I was brought up on Marmite. The problem is, people tend to spread it on toast too thickly, it is only meant to be sparingly used. Delicious on hot buttered toast with baked beans on top. Yum! 😍

I know its a year late. I never tried Brussels sprout flavour crisps, they just don't sound appealing. Not a massive fan of normal sprouts. A couple are ok but I find if you eat to many to quickly I start to get a little nauseous.

Bombay Mix is an Indian thing... very nice! Keep going with Twiglets... they do grow on you eventually.... and these snacks are really great with a beer! Whats with all the holes? Have the customs guys been sampling your nibbles :-)

I'd agree with you if we were talking about a dessert or some sort of sweet treat, but we have plenty of snacks here that are savory and not loaded with sugars. There is just nothing in America that is the same as vegemite or marmite. It is such an unusual flavor, deffinately something you have to be raised on to appreciate! ❤Jess
