I loved this film not just for its commentary on black creatives, but how each sibling gets a different version of their parents.

I was sat here smiling like ‘You better get it Sharronda’. Then the brakes SCREECHED when that Jeffrey Wright interview hit. But he got that shit back on track. You be here putting your foot on your subscribers’ necks with this stream of interviews you’ve been putting out. Trust and believe that some of these folk are gonna remember you and grace you with opportunities for longer sit downs, interviews, panel moderation and the like. You had Tracee, Sterling and Erika so comfortable in your presence. That moment with Erika? BAYBEEEEEEEEEEE. I hope their agents took note and have you on that list for all of the future projects they do press for.

When I say I love Erika Alexander. The fact that you got to interview this beautiful black woman and the way you just vibed with her made my heart smile. Love you my amazing black sista and keep up the excellent work.

I'm waiting for the announcement for when you're going to host a conference or retreat focused on self-empowerment, self-love and self-healing because those soul healing questions and answers needs to be explored longer and the same interviewees need to be on a panel because chillleeeeee, my mind and spirit shifted a couple of times from those poignant perspectives, and I was shouting, "TAKE YOUR TIME!!
