American Flyer Attempt 1 CATO 

This was the first attempt at launching my 2 engine 3D printed rocket called American Flyer. It is the 3rd rocket in the 3d printed fleet.
There is a whole story behind the ignition system for this but, basically there are two 2.5 inch copper wires running left to right that are held together by wrapping the 2 leads of the igniters on each copper wire (one on the left and on the right). One alligator clip is attached to one end of the copper wire and the other alligator clip on the opposite end of the opposite wire. This system is really sketchy and delivers inconsistent results but it was all I thought I could use. The reason why this happened was that one out of the 2 igniters lit and pulled out while the other side stayed in with the alligator clip still attached which led to a launch failure. I reloaded another motor on site and wired it up a different way without the copper wires and it worked out fine.
