Hi, Opera 2 is a song written and sung by VITAS. Vitas made a single key change, Dimash made 3 key changes. If you go check out the version of Vitas, there is no way! Dimash is great. @@morenapuccini4638 The real story is that the Chinese TV channel that shows the program is notorious for not getting the rights for songs. Vitas management sued them for using his song without permission. Dimash agreed not to sing it agin because of this. It was the TV channels fault not Dimash or Vitas.

Every time (and there have been multiple! on a daily basis!!) I listen to Dimash it is like my first time's reaction. He really fucks with my mind and soul (in the best way possible and apologies to anyone I have offended with the profanity) - in my life i have never seen nor heard another performer convey every emotion of every lyric that he sings with his voice and entire body the way Dimash does. Dimash is my drug for sure. ☮❤️
I've been following him since he was in the singer competition in China in 2017!! There are no words to truly express who n what he is!! Because for one he's just as incredible on the inside as well as the outside...Dimash is from Kazakhstan he was 21 n 22 during this competition...he now has a 7-8 octive range!!! And insane breath control!! He's stayed so very humble and kind ALWAYS!! He's an amazinglyiincredible personn I truly believe he was put here to bridge gaps n do kinda what MJ used to do...🌹💐🌸😘

The more you go down the Dimash road the more you’ll realise that words aren’t important. He portrays emotion like no other singer. Saying that, he does sing in English and has done several American or British covers. He was 23 when he appeared in this show in 2017. His English has improved enormously since then. He sings in 12 different languages. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and is learning English and Mandarin. ♥️
I actually prefer the non-english songs. He is getting better at English, though. But since I don't know if he mispronounces a word or two in another language, it doesn't affect anything for me.

In a talent competition one has to throw it all out there plus the kitchen sink in a four minute time frame more or less. So Dimash is no show off or show horse. His fans want this and expect him to show his power voice and his fans are "dears" to him in which he seeks to please.
A very cheeky and fun performance by Dimash. I love the ending when his father surprises him. It’s so cute to see their interaction. There may be another video that shows that interaction at the end. Dimash is moving to the USA soon to promote his career in the western world. I can’t wait for that to see what surprises he has in store for us.

this is not one of my favorites by dimash, but entertaining nonetheless (very much about the showiness, you're right). he has so many more emotionally riveting & talent-laced performances to see, cliff! i'm sure many have suggested it, but the next staple is "sinful passion". i'm also very particular to his rendition of lionel richie's "hello" (which he manages to pay homage to yet make his own song entirely as well...def worth checking out, i promise)!
This is a competition (especially among established professionals singers). Competitions everywhere requires all participants to show off what they've got.....and that's exactly what Dimash did on Singer 2017 or he'll be eliminated fast.
