Not sure I've seen anyone tell this to you but mic righteous and akala were part of the same group called people's army along with: Logic (UK logic) English Frank Lowkey Black the ripper All have fire in the booths and all are worth listening to, think you've done lowkey already so I'd say definitely check out English Frank and logic UK's fitb

I’ve learned over time that most don’t like “reactors” pausing at the end of every bar but I still point out what I think at cool doubles, transitions, metaphors etc. thank you for watching with me boss 🙏

In the first half when he was talking about protest, rioting and burning, he was referring to the 2011 riots after an unarmed man was killed by armed police. It was the UK's George Floyd moment and riots happened across the country. Many local business suffered because of the fires so that's where he said "when your life's works burnt to ashes"

Great break down as always bro! "English knows Lowkey knows." I think he's talking about English Frank, another great rapper from the UK. You already know Lowkey. Mic, Lowkey, Akala, Logic(the original UK one) and English Frank, my top 5 from the UK. They, and a lot of other rappers, were all part of a movement called the Peoples Army. Thanks for getting into Mic man I just subbed, I know you gotta do parts 3 and 4 but please check out his songs too, he just put out an album called Suicycle about his brother in law that committed suicide, really heavy content but honestly one of the best hip hop albums ever, he just put out a music video for the main track Margate Boy I would really appreciate if youd react to it, its not filled with metaphors its just beautiful passionate grown man rap. Mic is the GOAT. Please react to some Chester P. Tracks like The Authorship, Melancholic Flowers, The Wickerman Theory and a freestyle called Fire In The Streets. His is a genuine poet as much as a rapper.
