Tay Ninh-American girl returns to Vietnam 4 times to find her biological mother and receives a heartwarming surprise
Through writer Nguyen Phan Que Mai, the reporter was able to meet Molly Wright. Molly just returned to Vietnam for the 4th time to find her biological parents. The life story of this Vietnamese-American girl moved us deeply.
"On February 12, 1995, the records of the Tay Ninh Provincial Orphanage recorded that I was found by a caretaker at 5am, outside the gate. At that time, I was only 8-9 months old," Molly began her story. In the Abandoned Child Confirmation Paper signed on February 12, 1995, Ms. Ha Thi Yem, the Orphanage Manager, wrote: "At about 5:00 a.m. on February 12, 1995, the orphanage picked up a 9-month-old girl abandoned in front of the orphanage gate. Since then, no relatives have visited her. The authorities have also searched for her family without success. So this child was truly abandoned."
