Ok so story time, I may have not listened to the “do not feed the animals” sign when I was down there on my honeymoon. Well I gave one of the adorable little Coati’s (if you haven’t seen them yet google them, they’re cute!) a small piece of my burger bun. Well next thing I know greedy mcgreederson is on our table (beach bar at our resort). My husband and I got up really fast bc those things have some decent teeth. Well he decided to go to town on our plates, and loved my cheese fries. I will say, it was fully worth seeing that furry little thing with nacho cheese all over its face 😂
I'm surprised you've not have some before? I'm in Cali and I can even get authentic Mexican street food at my kids Halloween school trunk or treat haha
FYI almond croissants are usually made with almond paste. If you like that you can get the almond paste in Kansas grocery store and it makes for some amazing Christmas cookies!

I have been to playa del carmen twice and absolutely loved it. The first time was in the mid 90's when 5th Ave was still a gravel/dirt road. All inclusive is great.

For the Guava…. To make juice, you just cut it into chunks and blend it. Then you run it through a fine mesh colander. My great grandma would make it for us when we lived in Dominican Republic - we had a tree in our backyard.
I'm so glad your first experience in an all inclusive was so great! I'd love for you guys to do a sit down now and run through your dos and don'ts when booking one and what you loved, liked, and would change the next time you do one. Truly want some advice, cuz cruising is getting pricey and it would be nice to have an all-inclusive as an option to switch between.
My favourite 5th avenue hook....." Cheapy Cheapy almost free" and one trip we were walking by a store and they were calling out to us. One of our friends we were travelling with said, "No thank-you" and the guy at the store laughed and said..." Oh come on, arent you even going to give me a chance to rip you off?" It was hilarious. After 23 plus trips to the area, we have heard a lot of great lines. They are harmless and doing their job. Lots of fun! The statue is in Parque Los Fundadores. or Founding Fathers park. GREAT VIDEO. We cant go this year, and your video made me a bit home-sick for Mexico. Looking forward to where you go next. Keep up the good work.
Such a fun experience. I went to Mexico years ago as a naive teenager and regret not eating all the local authentic foods. Everywhere in the tourist areas was totally Americanized. Like B dominos and hooters wtf 😂
I've gotten so many "Nice hair" comments in Bangkok followed by being sold something over here. Usually just Tuk Tuk drivers and massage parlors. But we had a stupid american experience too. We we like like at these beautiful temples and structures and then in the comments they were like yeah that's where they cremate people. 😅

The furry bandits would have made my trip!!! They are sooo cute!! I had rabies shots from a possum bite when I was little so I’d be taking them back to the room with me 😅😁😆🤣
I enjoyed this and I'm glad I watched it. But I have to tell you that I intensely dislike the "is Mexico safe" narrative some of these traveling content creators try to push for clicks. The reality is that Mexico is one of the safest countries in the world. Americans move there to live in droves every year. I know you mean no harm by this thumbnail. But it's very cringey for me when people do this, lead with this narrative, especially if they are not Mexican.
Bought the sweatshirt - so cute but the screen printing is unfortunately not as well done as the the ones you are rocking in the video - the black shows through the screen printing- as a result the white looks grey - I love it anyway and will wear it proudly but thought you should know

@@TravelSpreeOfficial they talk about it negatively??? I’m curious because I’ve been going to Playa since 2001 and have always loved 5th Ave. I haven’t been there in 5 years and I’m hoping it hasn’t changed for the worse.
The trip, the property and the tour look fabulous. However, since the first video, you lost me with the CATS. They are a complete turn off (for me and many others)! While I know you love them, I'm not a "cat person" ... Don't want them at or near my table + don't want them on my vacation. Just me; it's just my personal choice... Then the raccoons 😮😂😂 lol ... I can't spend my money on a safari lol.
I'm from Los Angeles and moved to Georgia in 2020. You will never have a taco or any Mexican food as good as LA! I'm suffering here. I miss my personal favorite food truck "El Big Burrito" 😢🎉

Stayed at an all inclusive in Playa. The food and service was horrible. Watched thieves take beach bags and run down the beach being chased by cops. The town was pretty cheesy. Won't ever go back.
