I did edit out the majority of the meeting because it had alot to do with no video of a fly though along with just basic chatting. It seems as though Mansion Entertainment is waiting on FEMA (government stuff and we all know how slow they are) for flooding information and whatnots along with the Oklahoma State legislature for the TIF program that the state does for building projects of this size, similar to what the Legends Tower has to go through but without the FAA.

Efficiencies is corporate speak for cutting corners. If you want to make something a vacation destination, you have to wow people with the lodging. Cramming people in at the RV park or making rooms smaller and taking away amenities at the hotel won't get the job done. You need to offer nicer rooms. Bigger rooms. You need a place that will give a resort feel. If you fail to do that, it will be a one day and gone kind of visit. A gutted lodging experience just won't get the job done. A third more rooms is finding efficiencies. That is cramming people in.

It`s not the company everyone`s waiting on it`s the state. "A state bill that would have allowed $35 million in financing for needed infrastructure (water, sewage, electical and roads) in Vanita (which could hardly raise that much funds) that failed to achieve the final passage with the funding before the close of the 2024 legislative session". The bill passed the 1st stage of it, but failed in the last part of it. Governor Stitt said if it passes, he`ll sign it. So we all have to wait till the next legislative session.

@@frontiercitythrills586 it smells. They won’t even communicate with the press. Something ain’t right. And what about the 5 million they owe, is that the states problem??

They have communicated with the press, but it was either late April or early May when the Mansion Entertainment was in the press conference with KOCO (I believe it was) and mentioned that there was a FEMA flood plain issue (about 40 acres worth in total), so they had to go back and re-work most of the plans and had to get the drafting engineers to fix the new plan in place. As for the 5 million, that was between the Mansion and Crossland, I think that has all been settled now, everything now is waiting on the state to release that $35 million infrastructure upgrade for Vinita (might be next month or right after), and we all know how that is.
