Sorry. Israel doesn’t have hostages. They have prisoners who have committed or are suspected of committing crimes, often brutal genocidal and horrific crimes against civilians. Enough with your propaganda.

@@Anisky123 I got one. I try to critically analyze news pieces. I like using my brain. I hear a lot on the news of Hamas barbarity, so I want to see what she says about her stay with them. Is the media blowing up a few incidents or was this common practice by Hamas? So when a journalist has a opportunity to ask a former hostage and they don't ask these questions I feel it was a wasted opportunity.
@@gordonbgraham I just read it, there is nothing about her stay with Hamas. She got treated for her injury but nothing else. So I assume she and her daughter weren't raped or beaten. Otherwise she would have said something. I know the Isrealis want to keep pointing to mass rape and child killing to shift attention away from their massive killing of civilians in Gaza. To dehuminaze the Palestinians too. But the Isrealis don't provide much evidence. And they keep killing civilians there daily. And the media protect them.
how can people call gaza a open air prison after they exposed themselves lmfao some of these mfs live a better life than me lol they live a regular city life...
The people who were so brutally attacked on oct 7th lived so close to gaza because they were the peace activists, the ones picking up gazsns and taking them to hospitals, they still had s little faith the palastinians aren't all bad, oct 7th changed their minds

The missing context for what's happening in Gaza is that Israel has been working night and day to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian people from their homeland since even before Israel become a state - when it was known as the Zionist movement. Israel didn't just cleanse Palestinians in 1948, when it was founded as a Western colonial project, and again under cover of a regional war in 1967. It also worked to ethnically cleanse Palestinians every day between those dates and afterwards. The 'settler' project, as we call it, is a misnomer. It's really Israel's ethnic cleansing programme. Israel even has a special word for it in Hebrew: 'Judaisation', or making the land Jewish. It is official government policy. Gaza was the largest of the Palestinian reservations created by Israel's ethnic cleansing programme, and the most overcrowded. To stop the inhabitants spilling out, Israel built a fence-barrier in the early 1990s to pen them in. Then when policing became too hard from within the prison, Israel pulled back in 2005 to the outer perimeter barrier. New technology allowed Israel to besiege Gaza remotely by land, sea and air in 2007, limiting the entry of food and vital items like medicine and cement for construction. Automated gun towers shot anyone who came near the fence. The navy patrolled the sea, stopping boats straying more than a kilometre or two off shore. And drones watched 24 hours a day from the sky. The people of Gaza were sealed in and largely forgotten, except when they lobbed a few rockets over the fence - to international indignation. If they fired too many rockets, Israel bombed them mercilessly and occasionally launched a ground invasion. The rocket threat was increasingly neutralised by a rocket interception system, paid for the US, called Iron Dome. Palestinians tried to be more inventive in finding ways to break out of their prison. They built tunnels. But Israel found ways to identify those that ran close to the fence and destroyed them. Palestinians tried to get attention by protesting en masse at the fence. Israeli snipers were ordered to shoot them in the legs, leading to thousands of amputees. The 'deterrence' seemed to work. Israel could once again sit back and let the Palestinians rot in Gaza. 'Quiet' had been restored. Until, that is, last weekend when Hamas broke out briefly and ran amok, killing civilians and soldiers alike. So Israel now needs a new policy. It looks like the ethnic cleansing programme is being applied to Gaza anew. The half of the population in the enclave's north is being herded south, where there are not the resources to cope with them. And even if there were, Israel has cut off food, water and power to everyone in Gaza. The enclave is quickly becoming a pressure cooker. The pressure is meant to build on Egypt to allow the Palestinians entry into Sinai on 'humanitarian' grounds. Whatever the media are telling you, the 'conflict' - that is, Israel's ethnic cleansing programme - started long before Hamas appeared on the scene. In fact, Hamas emerged very late, as the predictable response to Israel's violent colonisation project. And no turning point was reached a week ago. This has all been playing out in slow motion for more than 100 years. Ignore the fake news. Israel isn't defending itself. It's enforcing its right to continue ethnically cleansing Palestinians. #JonathanCookBlog
Population of Palestinians in Gaza has increased tenfold in past years. That's not ethnic cleansing; that's a population explosion. Your claims are ridiculous.

The title is misleading which is not honest and we really don't get the full story about what happened to the mother and daughter, which is just as well. No-one disarmed anyone at the border. Most of the people who lived in those kibbutzim were Peaceniks, who employed and provided aid to people in Gaza. They didn't want to have guns, as they were naive enough to believe the Arabs wouldn't harm them. Lastly, the Commanders of Hamas specifically ordered their thugs to commit the atrocities to send a message to all Israelis. That being, " We are worse than the Nazis ". This woman had connections to people with very hostile activism against Israel and this how she was released ,being first one to be released. It was article about her in NYPost.
There were different squads sent out that day, the death squad, the rape squad, the torture squad and the "hostage taking" squad. Her and her daughter are lucky they were met by the hostage taking squad.
Which one? The one that attacked on October 7 and killed 700! ( 500 more were killed BY IDF) Or the ones who have been attacking and killed over 31,000 ( that’s thirty one thousand) and still?
Elisabeth Vargas, you should ask the Hostage, how Hostile the Palestinians are, against them. And how the Palestinian People are helping Hamas. Elisabeth Vargas, you shoul expand your narrow Horizon, when it comes to Hamas and the Palestinian Support.

Some key points our "unbiased" News Nation/Elizabeth Vargas forgot to mention: Point 1: 1300 or 1139 Israelis killed as per Haaretz? You do know that only 695 out of 1139 were actually Israeli civilians and rest were members of the Israeli Diaper Forces. Do you know many of the 695 Israeli civilians were actually killed by Israeli Diaper Forces due to panic when they came in for "rescue/hannibal" operation. Point 2: “Reliable circumstantial information, WHICH MAY BE indicative of some form of sexual violence, including genital mutilation, sexual torture, or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, was also collected,” the 24-page UN report said. PRAMILA PATTEN SAYS HER TEAM WAS UNABLE TO MEET WITH ANY VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT “DESPITE A COLLECTIVE EFFORT TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO REPORT.” A bit strange but I guess we can just blame it on spicy Humus and move on right!

What entire nation? The Arab world? The Arabs living in Mandate Palestine considered themselves Arab only. The was no such thing as a Palestinian ethnicity or nation. They didn't want any part of that word. Arabs only began referring to themselves by that term in 1963, 15 years AFTER the establishment of the modern state of Israel. The title of their report was contradictory to its content and press release. At presser Patten claims "sexual violence occurred on 7 October," yet concedes: - "Unfounded and inaccurate forensic evidence" was collected by "untrained volunteer first responders," who were also responsible for "the loss of potentially valuable evidence," referring to ZAKA - No allegations of sexual violence in Kibbutz Beeri could be verified - Three major allegations (by ZAKA) were "unfounded" - No attribution of sexual violence to Hamas or other factions could be made - She did not meet with any Israeli victims of sexual violence on 10/7, none were made available - "the alteration of crime scenes" marred her ability to collect info - "Efforts to collect evidence were beset by...the large number of bodies affected by extensive burn damage." This is yet another indication of the extensive Israeli use of tanks and attack helicopters against Palestinian militants and Israeli citizens according to the Hannibal directive
