"... never really realized a simbol..." - but it is quite simple: Tatiana and the rest of the band (except Vlad the drummer - he is from Kiev) were born in Gorlovka, Ukraine ... and this is the Donbass - the largest coal basin with coking coal in the world (even the Ruhr coal basin is smaller) ... and most of the men who surrounded Tatiana were miners (as 99% of the population of that region). And the guys chose the stylized image of the cutter as a symbol of their band (these are installed on automatic machines - they grind everything, even the largest and hardest stone) ... Tatiana (vocalist and lyrics writer) and Eugene (bassist, composer, arranger and band's tour/finance manager) repeatedly said in their interviews that their symbol means that they are ready to change the consciousness of people, even the most stubborn, because "their mill will grind everything ..." Watch their video entirely "No Hoard Of Value" fully dedicated to the miners in their region, their relatives and friends! - and you will definitely understand the meaning of their symbol! >> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6mGOxzSVDU.html Stay Metal! Peace!

Quite ironic, considering that the band is also environmentally aware.

Huge Jinjer fan here and also a fan of hip hop/Rap. I grew up on 90's and early 2000's Rap so big fan of 2Pac, DMX, EM but honestly my favorite rapper right now is NF.

Great reaction. Love this song, one of my favorites from the last album and also really like the video and the meaning of it. I listen to hip-hop and like it, but i´m not hardocore fan so I just listen to the more famous. My favorites are The Notourious BIG (RIP) and Eminem above all. Snoop, Wu-Tang Clan and Jay-Z are also a go-to. Oh and Cypress Hill are just awesome!

Growing up, I was listening to wu-tang, mobb deep, mos def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Getoboy, UGK, Bone Thug. I liked metal and all type of other genres. Just love music. Man I miss hanging out with the skaters, graffheads and bboys crew as a teenager.

Check out "On the Top" live or video version doesn`t matter from the sound, it`s almost the same, the video but tells a Story. Or try "Judgement and Punishment" as you like suprises. A very good choice also is "I speak Astronomy" which actually is a love song! Or "Just Another", there you might fall in love yourself after the first chorus...

Another great reaction bro. I agree, this isn't one of my favorite songs by them, but it's still fantastic. I can honestly say I've never heard a "bad" song by Jinjer, ever and I've been a metal head for over 40 years and I can honestly say that Jinjer is in my top 10 favorite metal bands of all time. As far as hip hop bro, I love that too, but I'm into old skool Hip Hop like Boogie Down Productions, Kool Moe Dee, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, RUN-DMC, Big Daddy Kane etc... but my all time favorite Hip Hop artist by far is Eric B and Rakim. To me, Rakim is the G.O.A.T. As far as your next reaction to Jinjer, I say "Pit of Conciousness" (My personal favorite by Jinjer) but like I said, Jinjer doesn't have a "bad" song so any song you pick is gonna be awesome. Stay safe amongst all this craziness bro, and keep on rockin!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

Sorry for multiple comments, commenting while watching. Their symbol/icon is a gear with a drill inside. It is based on something to do with their home city or such. I forget the exact details.

Hard for anything to compare to Who Is Gonna Be The One - it is my favorite song by any band. Retrospection is a lot more intense if one knows the backstory that they left their homes, families, and friends behind when the war in the eastern part of Ukraine broke out because the battle lines would have prevented them from continuing as musicians. The video is incredible all around. I feel that they have stuff that is technically better than WIGBTO though. Judgment & Punishment is perhaps their most accomplished piece IMO - both the official video and live in Melbourne versions are good, and the lyrics are deep. The sound is notably better in the official video of J&P, and it is very well done, but I'm not really a fan of the video itself because I feel it is distracting - and I love watching them perform the song too. Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev is great - the screens that are in about half of the on-stage shots here are the smaller ones they have begun using in smaller venues in Europe though they haven't shipped them overseas yet, while the Kiev show had larger angled screens that are very striking, and the lights in PoC are very interesting so the visuals are awesome, and it has the most savage growls of anything they've released. I'd recommend Outlander which is a much earlier song - specifically the video uploaded by Failure .Color with studio sound and footage from the Best Ukrainian Metal festival. I can't say I listen to much hip hop. I did buy Denzel Curry's cover of Bulls On Parade by RATM, but that doesn't really count. ;)

Good reaction! 👍 Tatiana has an amazing voice. If you want more female growling i suggest you reacts to Arch Enemy. They are a big Melodic Death metal band from Sweden 🇸🇪 songs like Nemesis, The Eagle Flies Alone and The World is yours are good songs to start with.

The Jinjer symbol is taken from the symbol of their hometown and is a drill bit surrounded by a gear. They come from the industrial region of the Ukraine.

The use of Russian and English goes along with the song. It was written about them missing their families who are stuck in Ukraine, during the war. They are talking about how they have it good on the road while those who matter most to them are back home in uncertain times.

Jinjer is influenced by hip-hop. Tatiana actually listens to it quite a bit. As far as that genre I have to say Cyprus Hill, Bone Thugs, and Wu-Tang were some of the ones I enjoyed. Logic has recently piqued my interest again. For next Jinjer recommendation you should check out an oldie of theirs. Outlander, Scissors, or maybe Exposed as a Liar. Cloud Factory is good too!

8:10 i feel like it's natural for 'Who Is Gonna Be The One' to be your fav Jinjer song (if it still is), cuz it resembles american nu-metal a lot. Compared to this one it's less melodic or sentimental n more of the in-your-face kinda metal.

Russian: Кто тебя выхаживал Грусть любовью скрашивал? Позднею весной порастет травой Тот, кто тебя нёс над головой Тот, кто тебя нёс над головой Who nursed you Who brighten up your sadness with love? In late spring will overgrown by grass the graves Of ones who carried you above the head Of ones who carried you above the head (meaning above anything in their live)

This song is a great mid-set piece, but it's not the hard core stuff. Pit Of Consciousness is definitely a good one. Get some older stuff like Scissors or Exposed as A Liar as well.
