I love when she's listening to the soldiers stories, she smiles a lot, is very attentive and admiring of her fella's, she feels very proud of them, I think it shows. Unfortunately, the armour is not thick, and the main gun cannot compete with the main gun on Russian tanks. However, it is reliable & quick. The AFU has shown that it is very intelligent, so I am sure that the AFU will choose the right missions for the AMX 10-RC & they will adapt their tactics to use the AMX 10-RC in the best way possible.)
I served 5 yrs with the AMX-10, for its purpose it's a great vehicle. The AMX-10 is being phased out but it's still active, it has gone through 2 big upgrades since it was put in service ( several minor ). It's a reconnaissance vehicle and even in the 90's ( pre upgrades ) we took out T-72's in Iraq so with the upgrades and the SABOT of today I´m sure they can still do that. I mean even a Carl Gustav M3 took out a T-90 in 2022. I liked the AMX-10 and with the right training and use they will be a great addition.
So much respect for these guys. They where ordinary people just months back, not years of military experience. Still they are doing the best they can with what they have.

With dnipro river drying out and mines swept away looks like lots of places for the Ukrainian warriors to cross once they find a weak spot. No rush just keep hitting the Russian supply routes and Ukraine will hit pay dirt. Payback is coming for the Russians they need to run home whilst the Kerch Bridge is still standing….

Served 5 years in 1 REC with the AMX-10 and it's a great vehicle for its purpose, a light armored recon vehicle that can take out T-72's ( we did that in Desert Storm ). Slava Ukraini!

The UK also cant spare many. Russia invades UK airspace nearly everyday at this point and we are responsible for Ireland's airspace as well, who russia really have an interest in, due to its non nato membership, position on the flank of europe and their joke of a military.
3 things...... 1) this lady is a fantastic journalist and a great person for the lads in the field to have around. 2) The Ukrainian forces are an incredible group of men and women, extremely brave and patriotic. 3) They're also unbelievably tough, very very effective at what they do and are currently the most combat experienced and battle hardened Armed Forces around at the moment.
